"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

"I've heard there was a secret chord, that David played, and it pleased the Lord, but you don't really care for music, do ya? But it goes like this: The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall, the major lift. The baffled king composing Halle-"

"Pause.

Taemin lowers the music sheet, facing Bangchan - who also has the music sheet in hand while he waves his other hand - as though motioning for the beat.

"I've heard there was a secret chord - Make it breathless, more head voice than nasal."

"I've heard there was-"

"Make head sound softer."

"I've heard there was-

"There more breathless, don't pronounce the 'R' too strongly."

Taemin takes a deep breath, closing his eyes to the clear frustration he's startng to feel, "I've heard there was a secret chord. That David played and it pleased The Lord, but you don't really care for music, do ya-"

"But you don't really care for music, do ya?" Bangchan repeats back, more distraught and emotional.

So Taemin repeats it back, earning a nod with a smile from him to continue.

This is what their day has looked like since this morning, practicing and practicing.

Jungkook lays back on the couch, music lyrics in front of him as he sings his lines over quietly in his head to the perfect note, trying to get it as perfectly as possible before having to face Bangchan's corrections. Taemin - who by far out of everyone has this down well - is being corrected this intensively with only the first two lines, no doubt Jungkook will face this more brutally than him.

So, to avoid too much critique, he's practicing over and over again.

In this recording room, Jimin is also going over his note pitches with Soyeon - to which he's still struggling on what technique to use that'll suit the song and his voice. Karma is not joining them at the moment, since he's performing at MNET for his album release - supposedly Namjoon informed him through text message that he'll stop by once he's finished. Truthfully, Jungkook has not seen or met with Karma as much as he expected. They're keeping that man booked and busy all the time, which is no surprise.

Ever since he beat Jungkook's record on charting on all platforms, including being the fastest Korean Artists to make it to Top 100 and Top Album, and let's not forget being the longest trending artists on Twitter - even beating Jungkook for his active listeners on Spotify in such a short period of time.

Jungkook was extremely proud of him, since he knows Karma came a long way to get here - and sincerely he deserves the recognition for his performances.

However, that pride didn't last so long. Namjoon and a few members of Jungkook's promotion team stated how Karma's success would be a major problem for his career. Sure, it's good for Karma, but Jungkook will lose his own followers and streak due to Karma's success.

Karma suddenly became a problem for Jungkook, and for Jungkook to show a shift in his image to make him beat the opponent - they came up with a plan.

Since Karma's concept is all about a rebellion with religion, Jungkook has to show on being the bigger person about his 'personal' issues. Even if Karma was not the maker of his songs, he has to show as though he is, and that idea of beating Karma was all that drove Jungkook as he saw him trending on social media.
