"So the Lord said to Moses, "I will do the very thing that you have spoken; For you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name." - Exodus 33:17
Jungkook has officially moved into his new apartment.
The process of signing the papers and all wasn't as difficult as it was trying to look for it. He found one at a good price around the Anyang area, which is primarily where he was eying towards. The area is quiet, very metropolis of course, but it wasn't a location where he'd have people stalking him down so easily by how uncommon this area is - and quite far from the main city of Seoul.
Jimin was carrying a heavy heart when he helped Jungkook move. Can't deny that the two did truly grow close to each other as time has passed by, despite what happened that night. The morning that came after that event revolved around Jungkook on his knees apologizing and Jimin telling him over and over that it's okay.
The guilt was hard to shrug off for sure, but within time Jungkook would make it up to him by cooking for him and literally doing anything he wants - to which Jimin rarely commanded anything since Jungkook is his guest.
Jimin's heart is too good, he doesn't hold onto grudges.
Anyways, the two did grow closer after that night, especially after the performance, so it was quite difficult for either of them to just.... Have more distance.
Not like they can't hang out or anything like that whenever they have time.
Well, if honestly is being spoken out in the open, ever since that performance... Jungkook hasn't been the same.
He doesn't know what about that performance changed him, but the worry is now less persistent in his head. His mindset is now always filled with this hope that things will turn out okay, and he doesn't know why or from where he got that confidence from - it's just there.
He's not afraid of anything.
Sure, even thought he still doesn't have a job, still relying on the money he saved, but he's not afraid.
Thing will work out well.
He knows it will.
Jimin would read him random books from the bible to him every night before Jungkook moved out, and something about the way Jesus was described in the bible is something that Jungkook can't seem to unwrap around his head.
He always preached about hope.
About love.
About trusting in God, trusting in him.
In return, you'll be given rest.
Comfort.
Peace.
Someone that who has a mind too chaotic to comprehend would crave for.
It's always ironic to think about how the Son of God himself was persecuted not only by the roman government against him, but by those supposedly religious groups who believed in God too - The same Father of Jesus - and yet they were the ones who put him on a cross.
Jesus could've given up.
He could've just thrown away all that effort, that sympathy, that compassion for those people, and pleaded for his Father to save him from the distress and pain. Anyone would've given up after being proven so many times why someone, or a group of people for the matter, aren't good.
But that just.... Wasn't Jesus.
He didn't give up.
But Jesus stayed. He stayed until his last breath, refusing God's help to intervene because he loved the people so much that he wanted to give them another chance. He loved them enough to die for them, just so they can be forgiven, as long as they believed in him and his love for them.
