[Third person pov]
"I'm sorry."
Felix just stared at the mop of brown hair that fell carelessly over the bowing Taeyang's face. He pushed himself off the door frame and took a step forward. The blonde wrapped his arms around her small frame, lying his cheek on her head, engulfing her in a hug.
"No need to apologize, we all have random outburst," He smiled softly, taking a hand up to play with the strands of her hair. "And even though I don't know what I did to upset you, I'm still very sorry."
Taeyang hummed quietly, still adjusting to the oddly comforting hug. It was weird to have her neighbour all wrapped up around her and didn't have the urge to push him away. Instead she wanted to stay like this, basking in his lemon strawberry scent. "You did nothing wrong, I was just overwhelmed and..." she paused, sighing. "Your hug is weirdly comforting."
"I could hug you often, if you'd like," Felix smiled, a small tint of crimson dusting his freckled cheeks. Taeyang nodded, snuggling closer.
After the day at the carnival, the brunette stayed away from Felix, she felt like he wouldn't want to be around her anymore, so she avoided contact with him for a week, that was until Ari pushed her to apologize to him.
"That would be nice," Taeyang pulled away, that gleam of hope tugging her mood up again. It was the closest emotion she had to happiness and wished to change that. And these five months with her neighbour were practically the most gleeful.
"I know right? Hyunjin always hugs me whenever he comes back, he said its like sunshine, rainbow, unicorn, cotton candy, and happiness. He's extra, don't worry."
"Well, maybe he's not wrong."
