Set me free
In shadows' grasp, I was led astray
Deceived by the mask you wore every day
Your words, like daggers, pierced my soul
Yet I remained lost in your deceptive control
Beneath the smiles, your intentions hid
As I drowned in the tears that I never bid
I was but a vessel, broken and weak
Unaware of the torment that you'd sneak
The wounds you inflicted, now run so deep
In the darkness of my heart, they forever creep
Haunted by memories that won't set me free
Just let me go, release the hold on me
Alas, the truth I could no longer deny
Tears like raindrops, I can no longer dry
The love I gave so freely, you left to decay
Leaving my heart shattered in disarray
Now I stand alone, scarred and bereft
With shattered dreams and a heart that's left
In the silence, I find solace, a fleeting peace
As I bid farewell, my love's final release
In this sad tale, no happy ending lies
Only remnants of trust, broken ties
The echoes of our love now become a plea
Just let me go, for my heart can't bear, you see
