In shadows cast by moonlit art
A lonely echo in my heart
A symphony of solitude's embrace
Where tears cascade, a somber pace
A vacant chamber, empty and bare
Whispers lost in the silent air
Yearning for solace, a gentle touch
Yet loneliness lingers, it hurts so much
Fragile echoes of forgotten dreams
A mosaic of sorrow, it slowly gleams
Memories fade, like stars that depart
Leaving a void in the caverns of my heart
The world spins on with vibrant cheer
But my soul weeps, a constant tear
No solace found in crowded throngs
Loneliness persists, where it belongs
Oh how I ache for an empathetic friend
To mend the wounds, the pain to mend
But alas I wander this path alone
With a heart of sadness, heavy as stone
So I write these words, my silent plea
Hoping they find someone who'll see
A soul adrift, aching to be whole
Loneliness consuming, taking its toll
