In shadows deep, where trust once thrived
A betrayal cruel, my soul contrived
Love's fragile threads, now torn apart
I bear the scars, a wounded heart
In her embrace, I found solace sweet
A love I thought could never deplete
But behind her eyes, a secret did lie
A dalliance hidden, a painful goodbye
Through whispered words and tender lies
She wove a web, a deceitful disguise
In the dark of night, I was left alone
While she found comfort in another's zone
The ache within, an endless void
A haunting echo that I can't avoid
The bitter taste of betrayal's kiss,
A poignant reminder of what I miss
My tears, like rivers, flow unrestrained
As shattered dreams lie broken, stained
A symphony of sorrow, my soul does sings
In this tragic play, the cheated heart does cling
Now shadows dance where love once bloomed
And in my chest, a love entombed
I drift through days with heavy steps
Lost in a maze of pain and regrets
And as the curtain falls on this despairing scene
I surrender my heart to the void unseen
For love has forsaken this wounded soul
Leaving behind a heart that will never be whole
