As the three people sat in Sam's kitchen eating eggs and toast in silence, Natasha finally spoke up
" So, the question is: who in SHIELD could launch a domestic missile strike?"
"Pierce" Steve was almost glaring as he spoke the name of the man who had hired the 'dead' Captain America.
"Who happens to be sitting on top of the most secure building in the world."
"But he's not working alone, Zola's algorithm was on the Lemurian Star."
"So was Jasper Sitwell."
" So, the real question is: how do the two most wanted people in Washington kidnap a SHIELD officer in broad daylight?"
"The answer is: you don't." Sam joins the conversation and drops a file on the table in front of Steve.
"What's this?" Steve asks
"Call it a resume." Natasha opens the file and sees Sam with a Pararescue team.
"Is this Bakhmala? The Khalid Khandil mission, that was you." Natasha said clearly surprised, then turned to Steve "You didn't say he was a pararescue."
"Is this Riley?" Steve asked, referring to the other man in the photo. Natasha was utterly lost in this new conversation.
Sam and Steve had met on a run a few days ago,  Sam had told Steve about how he had a partner; Riley. He had died in an accident that Sam felt slightly guilty for
"Yeah" Sam sighed
"I heard they couldn't bring in the choppers because of the RPGs. What did you use, a stealth chute?"
"No. These." Sam handed Steve another file
"I thought you said you were a pilot." Steve said, looking at the matchain in the file. It looked almost like metal wings
' I never said 'pilot'". That is true. He never had said pilot. He said airforce. Not the same thing.
"I can't ask you to do this, Sam. You got out for a good reason." Steve said empathy filling his voice.
"Dude, Captain America needs my help. There's no better reason to get back in." Sam said with a slight smirk.
"Where can we get our hands on one of these things?" Steve asked becoming serious again
"The last one is at Fort Meade, behind three guarded gates and a twelve-inch steel wall." As the words left Sam's mout, Steve looked at Natasha who just shrugged.
"Shouldn't be a problem." Steve said to Sam as he slapped the file down on the table.
