"Okay, everybody ready?" Tony asked everybody. It was late that night. Virginia and Bucky were both in a little hospital room and everyone was behind strong bulletproof glass just in case.
There was a chorus of "yes" and similar responses. Virginia nodded while trying to mask her fear.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked Bucky in a whisper,
"Yes, You don't have to worry about me." He promised back
"It might hurt a little," She warned
"Ginny-"
"I don't want to hurt you, Jamie," She whispered
"You won't hurt me, I'll be okay," He whispered in the same sympathetic voice.
"I might," She whispered back "I already did while I was just training,"
"Fine, you might hurt me, but it won't be on purpose."
"I know-"
"So just do it. I'll be okay."
"Fine." She gave up trying to argue and gently put her hands on her head "I'm sorry in advance."
He suddenly saw flashes of light and flashes of people went through his head; they were people he had never even seen before but he knew them, somehow...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" Steve and Ginny screamed startling the sleeping Bucky so badly that he fell out of bed.
"AAHhHhHh!" Bucky yelled in surprise from the floor which might have only made Steve and Virginia laugh harder.
"Get up," Steve groaned as he tried to pull Bucky up off the floor.
"Why" Buck whined like a child "It's 6 AM on a Saturday."
"Because we are going to Coney Island. It is the first nice day this spring. Steve and I are both wearing our swimming suits." Virginia explained while helping Steve on his mission to get Bucky off the floor.
"Fine. But only if you both ride the cyclone with me this time."
"We'll see" Steve groaned

"James," Rebeca Barnes barged into Bucky's room as he struggled to tie his tie as he was in too much stress to see clearly. Ginger was going to prom with him. Even if it was just as friends, something is better than nothing.
"What do you want, Becca?" He snapped at her without looking away from the mirror,
"She's ready," Becca announced to him and his head swiveled around fast then lighting.
"Shoot! Is she waiting on me?" Bucky asked
"Yeah, I think that is what I just said," Rebecca said in her normal snide tone and stepped out of the way as Bucky ran out of his room barely having time to slide on his jacket before he met Ginger in his kitchen.
She was talking to his mom with a wide smile. She had bright red lipstick and her hair was in pin-up curls. She had a small black handbag that matched her black heels along with a knee-length dark green dress with puffy sleeves.
When the two women heard him enter both of them looked at him and out of the corner of Bucky's eye he thought that he saw Ginger smile a little more at the sight of him but it might have been Bucky's wild heartbeat and probably not ideal blood flow playing tricks on him.
