Ginny didn't get much more sleep after that night, so in the morning, bright and early as always she went downstairs to collect as much coffee as she could before Steve or Nat pulled her away from it to have some or just so she wouldn't over-caffeinate herself.
By the time Ginny was finishing her first cup of coffee Natasha was already. Downstairs and ready for the whole day.
"Pour me a cup, Please?" Natasha asked, sitting at the counter while Virginia poured another cup of coffee for Nat.
"Any missions today?"
"Nah, the next mission is huge, everyone but Bucky is going to be there. But it's not for a few weeks" Nat informed sipping her hot coffee,
"Why not Bucky? Does Fury not trust him yet?"
"Nope" Nat said, accentuating the 'P' but looked around before looking back at Virginia "He found traces of another HYDRA base."
"What?! Why didn't he tell us this? And even so, why do we need everybody? Last I heard the few basses that had fallen with SHIELD were pretty small." Virginia said leaning on the counter across from Natasha trying to cool off any Fury (no pun intended).
"It's a big one, much bigger than the one's me and Steve have been striking down,"
"Ohh, So that's what you've been doing with your secret boyfriend." Ginny teased, making Natasha blush,
"He's not my boyfriend," Natasha tried to brush off the other woman's comment,
"Yes, he is,"
"Nu-uh,"
"Yuh huh"
"Nu-uh,"
"Yuh huh"
"Nu-uh,"
"Yuh huh"
"Then what about you and your secret boyfriend?"
"What?! I don't have a boyfriend," Virginia said her eyebrows furrowed with a little line in between them,
"Barnes, he's your boyfriend."
"Nu-uh,"
"We're not doing that again," Natasha said as she finished her coffee and put it in the sink, "But you totally have a thing for him,"
"I do not have a thing for Jamie-Bucky."
"See!! You have your own little nickname for him and everything."
"Steve also calls him 'Jamie'...sometimes," Virginia muttered into her hand as Steve walked in,
"What do I do?" He asked wiping sweat from his forehead; he must have been on a run
"According to Ginny," Natasha explained, "You also call Bucky 'Jamie'."
"I have never done that in my life." Steve walked back out of the room to go and do whatever he does.
"See," Natasha turned back to Virginia "You love the man." Love? Did she love him?
"Okay, even if I did love him, which I don't, He hates me and will hardly even talk to me." Virginia ran her hands through her hair "And don't pretend that you don't have a thing for Steve"
"I never said I didn't," Natasha said, standing up and leaving the room. Virginia stood there in confusion
"Wait, Nat! Wait up," Ginny ran out of the room after the Red head but was thrown against a near wall when she bumped into James Barnes. Her eyes slowly looked up at him a slight blush covered her cheeks
"Watch where you're going." He grunted, Ginny nodded, "Okay, Sorry," She stuttered before running off after Natasha, "Nat! Wait up!"
