Was it all worth it?

As I got out of the shower and got dressed in my normal clothes i gathered my things and left the academy.For the first time in a long time its not me or Clove leaving last it doesn't feel right but it is what it is.
I decided on my way home to visit the park maybe that will help me to clear my mind and just make my problems disapear.When i got to the park i saw a familiar small silhouette sitting on bench under some trees.I will recognize that ponytail everywhere.Clove.

"Great you're here too what are you following me creep?"

"Woah woah, slow down.Now you're the one that needs to chill.I just felt like visiting the park.If i knew youre here i wouldn't have come." I simply said and started to walk away i don't need another argument today i had enough of it.

"Wait!" I turned on instant. "If you want you can stay and i will go. I'm cold anyways and i think it's time for me." She simply got up and started to leave.

When she walked past me i felt the cold air on my face.
She left the park and i was alone again.There was no leafs on trees anymore.Its late november almost december but i thought there will be some.I guess that means were fully into winter now.
That means we will be sent somewhere with Clove.Every year academy sends top 2 "tributes" somewhere but the thing is no-one knows where that is.Talking about it is strictly forbiden.Its like a reward for those who were the best to know and experience that.
I sat in the park for a while just watching the wind that made the leafs on the ground move. When it started to get dark i made my way home.Even as the two is the capitol "Favorite" district a lot of people overuse alcohol and other stuff and the streets aren't that safe and calm at night or in winter and late fall when its get dark in the afternoon.Dark street is a dangerous street thats what my mom used to say to me when i was young now shes telling that to my sister.

The next day i arrived at the academy first I warmed up and wanted to start my training, but as Cato entered the gym with Avaian I knew it won't be possible.

"Clove can you?"

"Coming!"I walked over to them."Whats up?"

"Be here tomorrow 6am sharp.DON'T BE LATE. Remember Cato 6am SHARP." He put the attention on that we can't be late.

"Im never late usualy im here before her."He said pointing at me.

"Yes i know but it's early and from what i know you don't like to wake up early."Avain said and left the room at once.

"What was that about. You don't think its that... You know."I said looking Cato in the eyes.

"We both know what 6am sharp means.And i think it is what you think it will be... So i have to be ready to put up with you even before the games."He just rolled his eyes at me.

"Oh don't be such a jerk about it.Treat it as a training before the games.Remeber we have to take out 1 and 4 in order to win.And even a guy like YOU should want his district partner to back him up.It's no way you can win a fight with all of them or against even both from 1 or 4."I said poking him with my elbow. "So you will need me for first few days then we will split up."

"And when it comes down to us two at the end?What then Clover? Huh?" His raised his eyebrow.

"I kill you and i win.Easy as that."I said with a laugh turning away and fliping my hair over my shoulder.
"Oh and don't call me Clover you brute."

Suprisingly training went smoothly so did the rest of the day.Cato left me alone and I focused on myself.When i got home in the evening i was met with smell, of alcohol and something else.Great dad is home the one day i need to sleep more.I decided to not even go to kitchen to eat and tried to make as little noise as possible.Mission was succesful i got to bed without seeing him. I heard him stumble downstairs throughout the night but i got used to it.
