Was it all worth it?

Day1
So here we are standing in the middle of the woods alone with just backpacks and our weapon's of choice. Olny good thing at this point is that it's not December yet and there is no snow yet. That means we won't freeze to death.I wouldn't mind Cato freezing but if i would die i prefer to die in a fight during games.

"We're gonna move or we will just stand like idiots looking around huh?" Cato Finally snapped.

"Jeeeez man give me a sec i will look around and we will start moving."I tunred full 360 and no matter where we would go it's the same."Okay brute were going there."I pointed to our right.

"Okay i guess it doesn't even make a diffrence."He shrugged and started walking.

"Hey goliath moderate your pace im not your height."I said loudly jogging behind him to catch up.

"I thought you're better than me but fine i will slow down."

We walked for 2 hours based on the sun placement.We didnt take a break yet just because we want to find water and some source of food at first.But as the times goes by i think we will have to stop just for a few minutes to eat and let our legs rest.Walking in the straight line might sound like a dumb idea but its genius at the same time. We won't get lost and we will explore more.If we start to wonder around we can walk in circles.

"Okay let's rest we can't go on for the whole day.I don't know about you but i didn't eat breakfast today.And im getting hungry." I stopped and sat on the ground.

"Ugh.Okay lets eat. But were movin in 5.Got it?"He said throwing his backpack on the ground and siting down.

We ate a little i drank two sips of water and we restarted our journey to nowhere.Leafs and mud under our shoes were only sources of noise.Since We were just walking not sayin a word to each other.It felt natural for and it wasn't akward, atleast for me since im not really a people person so i don't need to talk to anyone.Cato on the other hand in my opinion could stuggle with that.His mouth is almost always open.His only exception were our trainings when we were alone.
Some time went by as we walked the sun was high in the sky but didn't bring us much heat.My hands were freezing even in my pockets.From time to time i took them out and tried to warm them with my breath, it wasn't much help but its always something.
After a while the sun started to go down sky turned bloody red.I loved sunsets especially the bloody ones like this one.Yet today i wasn't as excited about it mainly because we didn't found water nor the food source yet.

"Hey do you hear that?"Cato almost yelled while asking.

"Um yea i think so and you don't have to yell I'm right next to you."

"I know but you're so short that i don't know if you can hear me from down there."He started laughing.

"How funny." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms on my chest."You better move your ass if we've heard right the water is close.That means animals are close by too." I said taking off to run to warm myslef up.

"Hey Clove wait up!"He yelld as he took of into chase after me.

Few minutes later we got to the sound source.What we saw there was just amaizing and i could just stand and stare all day.We thought it was a river or something like that.It happend to be a freaking waterfall.From one of the mountains separating us from Capitol and it created a small water pit under it like a mini lake so call it.This picture will probably stay with me forever.I stood in amazement for a while until...

"Uhhh we see the same thing right?"Cato asked scratching his neck.

"Yup if you see the most beutiful thing you ever seen then yes." I said while i turned to face him.
