Was it all worth it?

Finally our climb to the top ended i was taking deep breaths to slow down my heart rate and calm down my breathing.When i looked at the sky i didn't need it anymore.It took my breath away.Night sky here in capitol is totally different than in two.

"Hey Clover Come here."I heard Catos voice but i couldn't see him.

"Here? You mean where?" I asked confused looking around.

"Turn left and you will see." I followed the instructions he gave me and i saw it.

Beutiflul little bench with a few flowers and grass around it.Its not much but when you think about it ,its on the roof and no-one really goes here.I sat on the bench next to Cato and looked up at the sky.

"So you have that thing." He laughed.

"What do you mean?" I looked at him confused.

"You have that thing that calms you down that just resets your mind.You look at the sky and your expression changes.You look so delicate and.. How do you like that place?"

"Well im really suprised that you found it and told me about it.Its really pretty if im being honest." His face lit up.

"Well im glad you like it.But i took you here for other reason." He got more serious. "Listen Clove... I know we had our differences in the past.We acted like kids did stupid things to one another.Just in general went through a lot....I wanted to just say that i shouldn't say some things i said and i shouldn't do some.I hope that if one of us comes out from that arena we won't have anything to regret.That we will live those possibly last days in peace between us." I could see that he's telling the truth just from the way he looks at me.

"Hadley listen im not mad i don't hold a grudge. I just want you as an ally not an enemy in that arena.Got it?" I was straight foward about how i felt.

"Yeah i get it.Can we stop talking about Games and just enjoy the night? Please." He looked at me and tried to make a cute face.

"Fine no more talking about tomorrow.Just look at me as usual if you have to look at me." I laughed.

We sat again in silence for some time.Cold wind brushing agains our bodies from time to time.Night wasn't as warm as i imagined it to be with that wind it was actually pretty cold.It didn't take long untill i started to shiver from cold.I could even hear my teeth chatter from time to time.When another wave of cold went by i felt something on my shoulders.I looked at Cato to see him with a smile on his face.

"You're cold aren't you?"

"Im fine." I slipped my arms into the sleves of his jacket.

"Yhym yeah.Fine, thats why you're putting it on and covering yourself....Clove just admit it you were cold." I felt his hand on mine.

"Hey! Who told you that you can touch me." At first i raised my voice and then i realized how stupid i was.

"Clove don't act like a bitch cause you ain't one. Okay?" He said softly and pulled me closer to him."I don't care about anything besides you right now. got it?I wanted to spend that night with YOU just you.I don't need anything else to be happy right now." I don't know if it was that spark in his eye or a tear that just shined in moonlight."Listen Clove i dont know how you feel about me or how you see me but i know one thing. Today it's just us tomorrow is us against them." His hand brushed my cheek and he put his hand under my chin raising my head so i look up at him.

"Cato i know where you're going with that." I put my hand on his chest to keep some distance. Feeling his soft skin gave my goosepumps.

"Yhym you know and still you're here." He almost whispered it while leaning in. Hew was inches from my face.
