Was it all worth it?

Highlights started to roll.Bloodbath all off other tributes dying.Fire girl running away.Cato just trying to get other careers.Me running after Katniss for a moment.Even Peeta taking off to the woods.Most interesting part at the start of the games.Foxface and Katniss collided but none of them tried to kill.They parted ways and vanished.

"I will stop us right there."Caesar paused tape as we gathered in front of cornucopia."Guys what was going trough your minds after bloodbath?"

"I guess main focus was finding fire girl, and killing her off.Just easy picking one after another." Cato started.

"Wasn't there any thought about killing your allies early?"

"I will come clean."I took a deep breath."I wanted to end Glimmer as soon as we got to the training center.In the games I was fighting that urge so badly for first hour or two."Catos hug tightened around me.

"Why was that?" Caesar wants all the information he can get.

"Well I wouldn't admit it then but....It was all because of Cato and just old days and my negativity towards people like her."

"People like her?!"Caesar leaned in.

"You know pretty, blond, privileged, perfect body on top of that I thought she's a total idiot at first and that she's probably really spoiled.Her voice during training also gave me a hard time how squeaky it was."

"Got it.So before the games there was something between you two?"

"From my side yes."Cato answered right away. "But I think for Clove it took more time.She didn't trust me at all and I don't blame her for that.I wouldn't trust me either....And to be completely honest I didn't trust her fully in the start of the games.I knew she's capable of pulling a fast one on me and taking off alone to the woods."

"You really thought that?"I chuckled.

"Yup." He just nodded.

"You were right."I laughed. "I was thinking about killing all of you. Taking off alone tracking those idiots down....But Glimmer and you and Marvel...."

"Okay let's move on."Cesar rolled the tape again.

We moved from cornocopia to me bumping into Peeta our conversation.No questions asked by Caesar then we saw the execution of girl from eight.How I hid in the shadows just watching her bleed out.One moment took me by surprise.When Glimmer was playing poor girl from eight we walked just under Katniss who sat on the tree branch.My blood boiled inside.Our host saw it cause he paused highlights.

"Clove you're visibly furious.Can you tell us why?"

"YES I CAN.Cause that idiot from twelve was just right above us.Why the hell we didn't look up.We could avoid so much by killing here right there and then."I looked over at Cato.

"I understand your frustration.Cato you on the other hand seem not effected by that fact."

"Um Caesar you know even if she was right above us back then.We won the games fair and square at the end so I don't care.And I think that we could win together just because their love story so I guess it worked out to our favor after all.But All I care about right now is that little psycho next to me."After finishing his sentence he kissed my forehead.I could feel my face getting red.

"Okay i see I see."

I now get why I never watched those interviews. They are taking for ever we watched me gutting out that boy in the middle of nowhere.Glimmer and me talking about everything.Fire that took out girl from four.Then it was time to see us running after fire girl.Almost catching her.Losing Glimmer after all of that and Cato cutting lover boys leg.
Cesar asked couple of questions but they weren't anything special and we didn't open up much about her death. What took me by surprise was the time when I was out.How Cato took care and was really effected by me being out.
