Was it all worth it?

I struggled to fall asleep just turing and turning trying to find a place for myself.Nothing helped and the fact that it wasn't even pitch black ourside and the itchy sesnsation from medicine that just started didn't help.I decided against sleeping and just walked over to Marvel and sat next to him.He was just staring at the sky.Waiting for anthem probably.

"You couldn't sleep?"He spoke up after a while.

"Nope." I shook my head."You don't want to rest?"

"Nah i want to see her face one last time." I could hear his voice cracking.

"Listen you will get revange on whoever did that to her thats it." I smacked him on the arm trying to somehow cheer him up.

"Yeah true." He chuckled.

Some time went by and i heard anthem starting. Looking up just to see Glimmers face didn't sit right with me but i had to do it as it will be the last time.Picture of her appeared on the sky and soon disappeared.Guess no one else died what a suprise.

"Hey listen if you want to sleep go for it i will just sit and watch Cl...I mean the sky."

"Yeah yeah the sky.Cato just say it.We all know.I will try to sleep you have some wood to add tho the fire if needed." He stood up supporting himslef on my shoulder.

"Night.You brute."

"Night.Just try not to put much pressure on places with medicine it hurts." I laughed.

I got closer to Clove and replaced jacket with my leg under her head.With that set up i felt satisfied. I didn't want her to lay on the ground basicly.I stayed up all night just staring into flames in our fire dancing around.Wood cracking unter the heat brought me some peace it wasn't so quiet. I couldn't sleep even if i wanted to cause i knew Thresh is on the loose.Clove is not able to fight so he could gain an advantage.Every little noise that wasnt her breathing or crack from a fire was a possible threat.It gave me chills each time.When the sun finally rose up again i felt huge relief.I was just waiting for Marvel to wake up to have someone to talk to.Except of him everything came to life again.First time in that arena i heard birds singing wind brushing crowns of trees this beautiful sound of leafs brushing against each other.I looked down at Clove just to see her still asleep as i prefer to think of it like that.She looks so peaceful, like a harmless teenage girl.I brushed few hair strands away from her face and just zoned out for skme time.

"Ey Cato!Staring at her wont help her." Marvel chuckled.

"Oh give me a break man.Can you run and dip this in water?" I tossed him shirt that was on Cloves head.

"On it man!" He saluted and took off to the lake.

I laughed as soon as he was far enough.This guy is something else.I glanced at Clove yet again and my mind went back in time.To think i wanted to Kill her not even a year ago.Just wated to get rid of my enemy and now im doing anything i can to save this girls life.How tables have turned.Yet she still sees me as her enemy and thinks that im playing some mind games on her.

"Catch!" I got dragged out form my bubble.I looked up and caught my shirt flying my way.

"Yhm" Water splatterd all over my face."Thanks for a cool shower in the morning." I chuckled.

"Yeah..No problem man.Her being asleep doesn't give you the right to smell." He laughed while recomposing himself from thay little sprint.

„You know we should move right?Either they gonna come for us or we will starve."

"Man we have enough food for 3 or 4 days for more than two people so chill she wakes and you two can go hunting.Since she thinks im useless cause i only carry a sword." I rolled my eyes.
