Was it all worth it?

We walked like on eggshells until we started to hear some really weird noises.I frantically looked around to see what is making them.But in the dim light I couldn't see shit.What is that animal or thing making those noises?Soon my question was answered.Huge dog like looking creature jumped out of nowhere right onto Cato.I took out a knife and threw it into beast neck.That didn't give him any room though until he put his sword through its stomach.I helped him up and we took off to cornucopia not caring about anything we just have to get up there to be safe from those creatures.

"Come on Clove I will bust you up and jump on right behind you."I heard Cato while we ran into the clearing.

"Fine!"I picked up my pace to get ahead.

I took a Quick Look back to see if that thing is still on our tail even though I knew it is from all the weird breathing noise it made.We got under cornocopia with about ten or fifteen seconds to spare.Cato kneeled in front of me put his hands together form my foot to place there.So I did jump onto his hands and he just pushed me as hard as he cloud to bust me up.I got there and offered him a hand but he was almost up there with me by that time.

"Thanks for help but wasn't needed."Cato laughed pretending like he's brushing the dust off of him.

"Jerk."I chuckled.

When I looked up I saw the wound left from the meeting with that dog.His face was cut open.This thing had to have some type of claws to do this much damage.Those couldn't have been done by normal dog like paws.Catos face could easily be covered in his own blood in matter of minutes.But when did that beast hit him across the face?

"But how handsome of a jerk I'm."He said proudly.

"Oh you know that's not true." He looked at me confused.

"Then why are you after me ,huh?"He rose his eyebrow.

"It's just those eyes and that you enjoy this as much as I do."I smiled.

"Quick change of topics.Dont those 'dogs' look like someone or something we saw earlier?"

I took a look down at the creatures scratching on cornucopia and indeed they do.Each and every dog looked like a tribute that died.Blond beautiful fur and blue eyes looking like an ocean.Collar with number one that's Glimmer right next to her a bit darker with one that has to be Marvel.Third and last on that chased us was dark as night brown eyes.The look in those eyes I knew who it was.Thresh.I swallowed hard.

"They are....They are other tributes.The fur and eyes.They represent a tribute that died during the games Cato.Its them..Marvel, Glimmer and Thresh."I could hear my voice break.

As soon as I finished my sentence dogs vanished.They took off to the woods probably to help others get here.We have to expect twelve here in minutes.I looked around to see what we're working with.Not much space but enough to trow each other around.Four people can put on a show here.

"I think we should trick them."I heard Cato and turned to face him.

"What do you mean?"I asked in confusion.

"We can pretend like I knocked you out.Im a brute as you always say.Then I can put lover boy away and you work with Katniss."

"Cato she's not an idiot.You're a brute that's true but she won't buy it ,she saw you.Better prepare to fight them both.Maybe old school just clear hand to hand combat.We will see how it plays.We have an upper hand now."I said walking up to him.

"I guess we have.I will trust you again.Your plans usually work."He chuckled.

„Yeah they do.....They're here."I said crouching.
