Was it all worth it?

We buried our fireplace packed what we needed and left cornucopia.I could feel the nerves coming back.This time not in a good way.I know we can meet someone like Thresh on that feast.If I face him I can overpower him somehow but it will be hard and if fire girl comes to play I'm done for.We crossed the tree line and walked a bit into the forest to blend in.When we found the spot to watch the mouth of cornocopia and feel safe during the night ,we started to put all of our clothes back on.Days were getting extremely hot but nights went opposite direction they were cold it felt like winter as soon that sun hid behind the lake.

„How should we approach it tomorrow?"Cato asked out of nowhere.

„Uh good question....I think i should go in and you will stay near just in case Thresh shows up or to go after Foxy? I can handle Katniss." I felt him grabbing my hand.

„You want me to sit and watch?When you go in and fight?!Are you crazy Clove? I won't do that."

„Who is faster?...I'm.Who can throw knifes like there's not tomorrow...Yeah me again.Who don't have to get close to someone to kill them.... ME.
Who can recognize footsteps?... Oh right that's me.Cato I will be fine just believe in my plan and do your part either run after Foxface cause we know she will show up as soon as they drop those gifts.Or stay put and watch out for Thresh."I just felt him squeeze my hand.

„I believe in you and I trust you but...I don't want it to end because we split up.I just won you over and now this."I could feel those icy blue eyes just staring down into my soul.

„You won't lose me now I will take a watch and you sleep for a bit and we will change soon.Okay? We both need rest before tomorrow."

"What if Thresh shows up??Huh?" He continued ignoring what I just said.

"Then I will yell for you are you fine with that?"I asked rolling my eyes.Even though he can't see that.

"Ymmm let me think.... I guess it's fine."

"You're so stupid blondie."I laughed and gave him a small hug.

I leaned against the a tree and Cato just layer between my legs resting his head on my thigh.Soon he fell asleep.Night was quiet.To quiet for me not even a light blows of wind nothing. Everything was asleep.But I knew one thing.Others are up.Roaming the arena for best spots.At dusk there will be four of us at cornucopia im sure of that and if Thresh shows up there will be five and if lover boy is capable of coming there will be another bloodbath.I looked frantically around to see something that wasn't even there in the first place. I feel like nerves are getting best of me.Time went by and I felt like it's time to wake Cato up when I saw it. Movement near cornocopia slick effortless quiet. Foxface. That had to be her she's always roaming under nights cover. She's so smart it might be deadly. She made it this far and almost no one saw her. that's an achievement.I woke Cato up and informed him about foxy being inside of cornucopia so he will go after her as soon as she takes her bag.We switched places and I just wrapped my hands around his leg.Soon I drifted off to sleep.I got awaken by Cato shaking my whole body.

„What's up Blondie?"I said just trying to awake myself.

"It's like 30 minutes until sunrise.We have to get closer and ready to attack."He said just giving me a hug.

"Do you remember our plan?I go in you go after Foxy.If I need you I will yell."

"I still think I should stay and look out for Thresh." I just rolled my eyes to that.

"I will be fine brute you can trust me and my knifes."I chuckled."Anyway we can get two instead of one."

"Okay just promise me that you will yell as soon as you hear him."Cato took my hand.
