Was it all worth it?

I took a quick look around.All i saw was everyone franticly looking around.Thinking their strategies over.I managed to spot Cato, Glimmer and Marvel then i turned my attention to cornucopia. This golden horn is way bigger in person than how I imagined it from tv.I spotted a vest with knifes thats my target its there for me.By that point to clock on top of the mouth of conocopia showed that there 30 secounds left.I tried to compose myself.Time flew away with each breath I took.
"5...4...3...2...1 Lets the 74th Hunger Games Begin." I heard the voice and a loud bang right after.I sprinted down from my pedestal right to the vest.Only thing i saw was that vest everything elese was blured out.I took it from the ground by one of the straps and took a quick look around to see where everyone is.I spotted two idiots fighting over a backpack and fire girl running.I took off into a chase after boys, vest in hand since there was no time to put it on.I took out one of the knifes and let it go.It cut through the air spinning and landed right in the back of one of them.He fell to the ground one down one to go.Fear in his eyes told me everything.I grabbed another knife and threw it in his driection.He tried to make a run for it boy ended up with a knife in the back of his neck.Thats when i saw her.Fire gril on the ground someone coming for her with a machete.
Oh hell no shes mine.
I took off again in their direction.Boy was few meters away ready to strike.I was faster though.My blade cut through his flesh as he was centimeters from her.His numb body fell right next to her.On instant she started to run and i started the chase.Fire girl dead in bloodbath is there a better scenario.As i closed the gap between us i got ready to throw.I let go blade spinning on the perfect path to the back of her head.And then beng it hit her... backpack.SHIT.She just looked back at me and took off to the woods.Im not going there yet.
I took a look around me Cornocopia is in dead center as always to the right is a huge lake that spreads for at least 2 or 3 kilometers in the distance you can see some not really high mountains and the rest is just one huge forest.Trees are spreading is every direction accept west as there is a lake.One thing is sure this forest have some suprises for us and we have to be ready for that.
I recomposed myself and went back to the cornucopia.

"Hey where have you been.I was looking for you." Cato said as soon as i got back.

"None of your buissnes blondie.Tell me what happend here." I scoffed at him.

"Well we cleared out what was stupid enough to go in.Besides Thresh he took off."Glimmer said.

"So did fire girl.I guess we have to hunt them down."

"Great two targets right off the bat who are we chasing first?" Marvel chimed in all excited.

"Woah handsome first lets collect what we need from here and the clear out so they can pick up bodies." I tried to cool him off a bit.

"Shes right.Get what you need then we meet here and we take off after fire girl.If anyone knows where she went.....I can't believe she just flew the bloodbath after getting an eleven." Cato shook his head and left.

I wondered off to the outlines where the backpacks were.I started to count the bodies too and tried to identify them.I saw kids from 5,6,9,10 probably, well it doesn't suprise me.I sat by one of the backpacks and took off my jacket to put on my vest.As i did it i grabbed the backpack and checked what was inside.
It contained some matches,rope and an ampty water container.I shoved my jacket inside as it was scorching hot and jogged up to others.

"Did you find any food here?" I asked looking trough the faces.

"Yup here you go i took some for you and two bottles of water."Glimmer tossed me some pack of dried meat and a few apples.

"Well thanks.How many did you kill?" I asked packing my supplies.

"Well just two this idiot took one from me." She pointed at Cato.
