Was it all worth it?

I couldn't belive my eyes as i made my way down the dining cart.The food pastries everything looked so good and expensive.Everything was shining the thing that was the most abstract for me was that all of the tables or countertops were made from marble.Its just a dining cart it doesn't have to be so spotless and fancy.Then i spotted our mentors sitting at one of the tables eating dinner.My eyes lit up as i recognised them.Brutus and Enobaria just like we wanted.We sat on the other side of the table Cato in front of Brutus ,I in front of Enobaria.We just stared at them waiting for something to happend.

"Great, kids you're here."Enobaria started and smiled showing her teeth."Can you split your attention?" We just nodded as the response."Great then start eating and we will start explaining the whole thing after that we will watch all the reapings and you're free for the rest of the night."

I took a look around the table.Mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, lamb, chicken breasts, roasted duck.Everything you could imagine was there.Not wanting to upset my stomach i went for a classic just mashed potatoes with Lamb stick.

"Okay so first things first.What is your weapon of choice and strenghts and weaknesses."Enobaria continued.

I looked up from my plate."Um im good with knifes and also can use an axe."I looked over at Cato.

"And shes bad with feeling anything. She doesn't have emotions." Cato added to my portfolio.

"Thats good then she won't have a problem with killing." Brutus looked at him and the turned to face me."What about you pretty boy.Anything besides being charming and able to pull some idiotic girls?"They know more about us than we think they do.

"Um yeah hand to hand combat and swords."Cato said looking back down at his plate.

"Great so we have a strong duo this year don't we.Now you know the games as the arena.Before that we have to get you ready mentally.You probably know you will be i alliance with 1 and 4 but more likely 1 because 4 is failing lately with their tributes and they don't volunteer and they send some weaklings."Enobaria laughed when she said her last words."Good thing we have Blondie here.You will get 1 out in no time those girls are stupid and usualy go for that romance pretty girl thing.You will use that to your advantage.Girl blinded by looks and some emotion is an easy target.So thats a mission for you Cato.Clove you will have to intimidate others.You may be short but that look in your eyes and power that throwing knifes with such precisoon holds is unmatched.Most of them will be terrified after watching the reaping alone.We're ahead from the start." Enobaria is really a brain when it comes to strategy.In time she explained this and other things to us we finished our meal.I felt like i will explode i never ate this much but food was delicious people in capitol knows how to cook thats for sure.

We stood up from the table and moved to the gigantic couch.Brutus sat the furthest from the exit next to him Enobaria and that left me sitting between her and Cato.Brutus put on the reaping and we waited to see who we're up against. It will go from 1 to 12 so we will see our allies and could figure them out.They hit the bullseye with girl from one she looks like her brain is smaller than the head of a pin.

"She looks like a typical blond idiot form one but dont underestimate her."Enobaria brought me back to earth from my thoughts."And that boy better watch out for him.He looks skinny but with that height he dont have to be big to have a lot of power." Great so blond might be a killer playing an idiot and the boy might be a powerhouse just what we needed.

Then we saw our reaping.Me jumping Unzia the shocked crowd and Cato snapping Marteins neck.Great reaping something happened they will remember that.

"Hmmm i don't think someone killed on the reaping before.You two are the frist ever." Brutus laughed.
