Was it all worth it?

Day5

I woke up late the sun was high on the sky and Cato nowhere to be found.Sitting up still in sleeping bag i untied my hair from the ponytail i put it in back home.When i got to the sections i made and tried to take the hairbands off i felt how awful my hair felt.Then i realized that it was like that for five days now ,and i never washed it or let it flow so obviously it will be greasy and oily.I decided to take care of it.I got up from my "bed" took off my jacket and t-shirt and went to the water.Not the best idea when its so cold but who cares.I put my head in the water and brushed my hair with my hand copule times to detangel it and somewhere washed it.Taking my head out of water i saw Cato coming back.I quickly put my hair into my t-shirt and sprinted to the cave where i put my jacket on.

"Oh you're up ,EH?"

"As you can see."

"Good, here.Catch." He threw something at me.

"What are those?" I asked looking suspiciouly at the berries he probably found which is weird that they are even growing anywhere in that snow.

"I dont know but they're gooood." He poped another berry into his mouth. I guess its not poisonous then.

"HMMM, i see you dired your shirt." I mumbled while eating the berries.

"Yep it dryed over the night as it was close to the fire."

After that again silence fell upon us and no-one dared to break it.We spent the whole day just sitting occasionaly going for a walk just to get some fresh air.When the sun hid behind the horizon we made a fire and picked our turns on sleeping.I took the 1st watch Cato was the one who took the 2nd one.Night was peaceful and quiet on my turn i only heard few howls of the woolf pack far away i think they are further away then when i last heard them last time.

Day6

I was woken up by Cato and told to go outside quickly. To say i ran out there was is an understatement i was shoot out of the cannon and to say that i was disapointed to see what i saw there and why he wake me was an understatement too.

"Really?! Thats why you wake me?Are you serious?!"I just rolled my eyes.

"Jeeeez i wanted you to just enjoy even a moment we're here ,but i see that you're gonna be grumpy ALL THE TIME."He threw his hands up in the air in frustration.

"Yes i will be grumpy now because you wake me you dumbo."I crossed my arms on my chest."Cato I've seen a frozen water pit before na i saw the blood on the snow before its noting new...." As i finished that sentanve i froze."Ummm Cato?" My eyes tried to meet his. "Did you saw anyhing when you went out this morning?"

"No why?" He looked my in the eyes confused.

"Because the wolf pack was here and probably the blood is here because of them too.You're standing right on top of their marks."I told him pointing at his feet.

"Good thing we don't have to leave today because we have food and water still. Right?"

"Yeah we got lucky they probably walked past us and ignored us." I said walking back to the cave. "But they can be back!" I yelled.

Cato came back some time later and sat across from me and started to zone out just watching the flames dance.I opened my pack of dryed meat and stared eating in the mean time.Eating half of the pack took me some time i looked up and was met with big blue eyes staring at me.

"What?" I looked at him a bit confused.

"Nothing im just looking." He didn't even look away.

"No youre staring there is a diffrence."
