A/N: Certain episodes in this season were skipped due to feeling irrelevant or just that they were boring. They still canonically happened, I just didn't bother to write them.
Jack, Milton, Jerry and Eddie paused as they came down the school stairs, spotting an incredibly strange sight.
Sprawled out on the floor in the middle of the hallway was Theo, who appeared to be staring up at the ceiling as if looking into the abyss.
"...Hey Theo, where's your owner?" Jack joked.
Theo ignored him.
"Are you performing some kind of skit?" Milton questioned.
Nothing.
Jerry kicked him. "YO, THE-DAWG!"
Theo grunted a little and finally glanced at them. "I don't want to talk. Nothing matters anymore."
"Dude, what happened to you?" Jack asked, now more concerned. "Seriously, where's Mira?'
"At some stupid family funeral. Apparently they had to go out of state for it and I can't come cause it's a family thing." Theo rolled his eyes. "So now I'm here...by myself."
"And that's bad?" Eddie questioned.
Theo whined dramatically. "I just...I don't know what to do without Mira! I've gotten so used to following her around."
"What did you do before you met Mira?" Milton quesitoned.
"Mostly console my mother while she cries over something and then bake some cookies." Theo shrugged.
Jack sighed and tugged Theo off the ground. "Okay, enough sulking. Theo, it's time for you to be your own person. Just think of it like a vacation."
"A vacation?" Theo frowned.
"Yeah. You finally get a well earned break from your job as Mira's guard." Jack patted him on the shoulder. "Enjoy it."
Just the, the principal came out and announced that Kim won an essay contest, meaning Ricky Weaver was gonna come perform at their school.
"I can't believe I won!" Kim squealed.
"Whoa, Kim, you're into Ricky Weaver?" Jack smirked as he and the boys walked over to her and Grace.
"Uh...no? I'm not even sure who Ricky Weaver is." Kim stated.
Grace smirked. "Really Kim? Cause your locker sure knows who he is." She opened Kim's locker to reveal it decorated with Ricky Weaver stuff, almost like a shrine.
The boys snickered as Kim looked mortified. "Thanks a lot Grace." She shut the locker before sighing and turning to the boys with a smile. "Okay, it's true. I love him. I downloaded all of his music, and now he's coming to perform at our school...RICKY!!!" Kim shrieked with excitement as she walked off.
Theo frowned. "Wait, so who exactly is Ricky Weaver?"
"He's a popstar, total teen heartthrob." Grace explained with a smile. "He's totally cool."
Theo's eyes narrowed a little.

Despite not having Mira around, Theo still hung out at the dojo, mostly because he didn't know where else to go. Kim was late, but when she entered she was on the phone.
"I don't know Grace, he could part his hair on the left or the right, that's just what makes Ricky, Ricky." She sighed dreamily.
Theo let out a sputter of laughter before he could help it. "Oh come on, you can't actually care about something like that."
