An auction was being held at school to try and raise money to save the marching band. But people were auctioning other people, allowing students to purchase dates.

Jerry just spent 75 bucks to win a date with a girl named Carol.

"Why did you go higher? Nobody else even bid." Theo snapped. Jack just shook his head in exasperation.

Milton spoke into the mic, he was in charge of the auction. "And that brings us to Kim Crawford, this black belt beauty is what you saved your lunch money for people." Kim stepped out and everyone cheered.

Jack smirked. "Is your lacky in place?" He whispered to Theo

"Should be." He huffed.

"Do I hear 50?" Milton asked.

Albert held up his sign. "Yes you do! You really do!" He was the president of the mathletes club.

"Do I hear 60?"

Nicolas from the football team held up his sign.

The two went back and forth, but that Albert finally offered 200, much to Kim's horror.

"The look on her face is priceless." Theo snickered quietly to Jack.

"You're such a jerk." Jack chuckled.

"Sold to Albert for a record breaking 200!" Milton announced, making Kim groan.

Kim left the stage and Milton smiled. "And our final girl of the night, the student council president and captain of the gymnastics club: Mira Goodwin!"

Jack's eyes widened as Mira stepped out onto the stage, wearing a beautiful white dress. Her hair was flowing down around her and her makeup had been done to perfection like a doll.

"She kinda reminds me of that chick from the horror movie-" Theo started.

But Jack wasn't listening. He couldn't help thinking that Mira looked like an angel, just like she was for Halloween a couple years ago.

Everyone clapped for Mira as she shyly stood on the stage, rubbing her hands together anxiously.

"Do I hear 50?" Milton asked.

And as planned, Jerome, the president of the history club, held up his paddle. "50!"

"Do I hear 60?"

Nicolas held up his paddle again, making Theo and Jack scowl.

"Wow, some class. Couldn't get Kim so he goes for Mira?" Theo scoffed.

The bitting went back and forth until Jerome finally declared 200 bucks, just like Albert had done, since he knew Nicolas couldn't pay that.

"Unbelivable, another 200! Sold!" Milton beamed.

Mira awkwardly went over to Jerome, looking massively uncomfortable about the whole ordeal.

Thankfully, it wouldn't last much longer.

"I know it's for a good cause but...I can't believe I have to go on a date with Albert." Kim shuttered.

Mira sulked next to her. "Jerome is sweet, but he does this thing where he constantly removes his glasses to say something dramatic like he's from a TV show, and he does it even when he's saying simple stuff like 'pass the fries'."

Milton smiled. "Little tip, if you need to end the date early, just blow in their ears. They'll faint and you can run. Works on nerds every time." With that, Milton got up and walked away.

And the second he did, Theo was nearly hopping where he stood. "Now? Can we tell them now?" He grinned.

Jack rolled his eyes playfully. "Well we kind of have to now."
