THREE MONTHS LATER

A lot had changed in a short time since the Wasabi dojo was no more. The group had completely split off from each other.

But Jack was ready to change that, at least for one night. Rudy wanted to meet with them all and have dinner, so he was going around trying to find everyone.

He entered the gym of the school, only to be stopped by a blonde he didn't know. "State your purpose, we're practicing." She hissed. She was in a gymnastics leotard.

Jack held up his hands in defense. "Uh, I'm looking for Mira Goodwin? I heard I could find her here."

Another girl walked up to him aggressively. "You got business with our leader? I don't think so skater boy."

"Yeah, make an appointment." The other sassed.

"Guys, it's okay." A familiar voice spoke up with amusement.

Jack looked passed the two to see Mira stood there with a small smile. Her hair had grown out pretty long, resting in a braid reaching her lower back. She was wearing a black leotard and some wrist support braces.

She did a flawless cartwheel over to Jack and the two girls walked away. "Hey Jack, its...been a while."

"Yeah, it has." Jack rubbed the back of his neck. "...How've you been?"

"Busy." Mira admitted with a weak smile. "Being preseident of the gymnastics club takes up a lot of time."

Jack nodded a little. "I'm surprised. I didn't think...you'd be interested in that sort of thing."

"Well, after...everything," She frowned. "I guess I needed a release. Something to get out my anger over Kai, the dojo..."

"Yeah, I get it." Jack bit his lip. "Um, did you get my message about tonight?"

Mira's eyes widened. "I haven't had a chance to look at my phone. Um, what is it?"

"Rudy wants to have dinner with all of us. I'm trying to get the gang back together but so far...everyone's too busy." Jack admitted sadly.

Mira winced. "I'm sorry Jack, I just...I don't have time. We have a gymnastics competition coming up and we're all practicing over time."

"Well- can you at least tell me where Theo is?" Jack huffed. "I know him, if I bribe him with the dinner he'll show up no matter what."

Mira frowned deeply. "I wouldn't be so sure, Jack."

Jack's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

Mira bit her lip and grabbed her phone. "This is the address...but I wouldn't get your hopes up."

Before Jack could question her anymore, a boy suddenly walked in and came over to Mira with a smile. "Mira, it's time for your break right? Wanna grab froyo?"

Mira hesitated. "...In a second. Jack this is Brett...my boyfriend." She admittedly almost shamefully.

Jack couldn't even hide his hurt expression. "I'll see you around." He told her coldly before storming out of the gym.

Jack couldn't believe it when he stepped into the juvenile detention center. Even as Theo plopped down on a seat in front of him, with only a barrier of glass between them.

His hair had grown out a bit, and drooped down instead of being swifted up. But he didn't look particularly upset despite his situation.

Theo smirked and grabbed the phone, speaking into it. "Wow, didn't think I'd see you again."
