Jack shattered four bricks, celebrating with Rudy, Eddie and Kim.
Mira clapped softly from where she observed on the side with her clipboard. "At this rate, you'll break the world record with no problem."
"Some of the people in this book are crazy. There was one woman who ate her own car." Kim told them in shock, reading the book.
Theo glanced at the photo. "Wow, literally a trunk in her junk."
"I just can't believe the dojo's gonna be in the world record book." Rudy grinned. "This is huge!"

Mira helped Joan hang a sign for the world record event.
"Oh Mira..." Joan grinned. "The whole mall is talking about Jack. There hasn't been a buzz like this since the escalator ripped off my pants."
Mira winced. That had not been a fun day at school for Theo.
Just then, she noticed Jack heading for the dojo. "Oh, I'll see you later Joan!" She quickly ran to follow after him.
She stepped over some bo staffs someone must've knocked over. "Hey Jack, I um, I made you something." Mira shyly held out the bracelet to him.
Jack smiled. "Aw, like a good luck bracelet for the world record." He took it from her.
Mira frowned. "Well, yeah, but I mean, it's also sort of...like..." She trailed off, unsure of how to explain it without sounding weird.
"What, like a friendship bracelet?" He asked.
"...Yeah." Mira replied awkwardly.
Jack bit his lip. "Great, it's official, we're friends." He said sarcastically.
Mira puffed out her cheeks in annoyance. "Jack, it's obviously meant to be more than just a-" She froze, realizing what she nearly said.
Jack looked at her curiously. "More than just what?"
"I-I dunno, who knows, it's a dumb bracelet really, I made it in like an hour, I think I hear Theo calling me, all the way from the arcade, I gotta go." Mira turn and bolted.
"Mira!" Jack called, sighing and walking after her. "Mira wait a minute-"
But he didn't see the bo staff's on the ground, and accidentally slipped on them, falling back and smacking his head hard on the floor of the dojo.
"JACK!" Mira all but shrieked in horror as she spun on her heel and ran back over to him. Eddie, Jerry and Milton heard the fall and ran over too. "Oh my gosh, are you okay?" She didn't see any blood thankfully.
"Yeah...just one question though..." Jack looked around with uncertainty. "...Who are you people?"
Mira's mouth fell agape.
~~~
"It's a minor concussion." Mira told them with a frown after examining Jack with a penlight. "Try not to do anything strenuous. Your memory should come back on its own."
"Should?" Kim asked with uncertainty.
Mira winced. "Ideally it'll only be a few days, but sometimes with memory loss...it can take years."
Everyone exchanged worried gazes.
"Isn't there anything we can do?" Rudy questioned.
"Get his mind thinking about the things he's forgotten." Mira explained. "But...the biggest thing is to be patient." She told Jack specifically. Jack gave a small nod.
Jerry's eyes widened. "...Hey Jack, do you remember last week when you lent me 20 bucks?"
"No." Jack blinked.
