Karate Games

The afternoon was extremely eventful. Someone escaped from a prison nearby and ended up in the foodcourt, where Kim and Theo beat the ever loving snot out of him and the cops were able to take him away.

"Well that was fun." Theo noted as he ate a falafel ball kabob.

Theo and Kim headed into the dojo where the others were practicing. "So, we're on the news."

"Oh no, not again." Mira started worriedly.

Theo shook his head. "This time as heroes. We took down that prisoner who escaped."

"I kicked butt and looked good while doing it." Kim smirked.

Theo smirked. "Yeah, and during the interview you said to have taken the guy down by yourself."

"Sounds about right." Jack deadpanned, giving Kim a look. She rolled her eyes.

Just then, Rudy left his office with a taller man. "There they are. Guys, meet Dolph Gruber."

"I've seen all of your movies! You're the best action star ever!" Jack gasped.

The man grinned and spoke in a thick accent. "Aw, you too kind." He then looked at Kim. "I saw you on the news last night along with..." He looked around before spotting Theo digging around in his locker. "Ah, him. What you do is incredible." Kim smiled bashfully.

Theo finally closed his locker to reveal a thing of chinese takeout. He barely even glanced at the guy. "Thanks."

"So what brings you to the dojo?" Mira asked politely.

"I want these two in my next movie." He gestured to Kim and Theo. "I'm directing what will be the greatest martial arts movie ever. It's called The Karate Games. Do you lub it?"

Kim scoffed, walking over with a grin. "Yes I lub it!"

"Yeah but, we're not actors." Theo reminded him.

"That's why you are perfect. Actors are fake, you are real. You're fresh, you're gutsy and you smell nice."

Kim giggled. "Thanks."

"I was talking to the boy." Dolph told her.

Theo shrugged with a smile as Kim scowled. "It's a gift."

"What do you say? Yo-Yo and Kam?"

"I could be a star!" Kim squealed. "Of course we'll do it!"

Theo blinked. "Wait, we will?"

"All people in production get access to high quality food set out on set." Dolph added.

"I'm in." Theo told him instantly.

Theo carried about a dozen cookies in his arms that he got from the snack table while Dolph showed him, Kim and Rudy around the set. 

"We shoot the first scene right here, this is your underground bunker. Your characters are enemies, but you're brought together by the most powerful thing in the universe. A kiss."

Theo choked on the cookies as Kim's eyes widened.

Theo and Kim got makeup done and were put in their outfits. Kim had her hair in a side braid and they both got fancy leather jackets that had been slightly roughed up.

"Action!"

Kim glared at Theo. "But I hate you! You're from Zone Five...you vaporized my father!"

"I had to vaporize him! He was implanted with an evil egg and smelled of...elderberries." Theo interally laughed at the script. Some of the line choices just felt questionable.
