"So, there will be white napkins with gold utensils and the dress code will be black and white. As well as the exterior of the building being decorated with flowers and gold." Mr. Boris summarizes.
"Yes, but make sure every guest gets a teddy bear; the ones I ordered." I add as I get up from my seat, and so does Eiser. "Yes, of course. Thank you for traveling and meeting with us." Mr. Boris and the other men and women stand up too and shake our hands. "It was a pleasure." Eiser says and I follow him outside.
I've been wanting to talk to Eiser about last night. But he had some errands to run so I woke up, alone. And by the time I met with him the meeting had started, and it didn't seem like the appropriate time to talk about...it.
The car ride to the hotel was painfully awkward. I didn't the driver would be exactly pleased with hearing about our "predicament".
We get inside the room and I sit on the bed while he locks the door. "Eiser," I call his name. He doesn't respond but instead walks to his luggage on the couch.
"Can we talk about last night?" I ask him, with a more of a soft tone. He stops rummaging through his luggage and sighs. "What do you want to talk about?" He asks, finally facing me.
"I...it was a mistake—I mean," I blurt out. "It wasn't a mistake, but I just got caught up that's all. I've just been going through some matters and I got caught up in the moment and..." I stop once I realize I'm rambling.
His expression doesn't change, his eyes...they still show no sign of emotion.
He walks closer to me and I gulp, not knowing what he might do. He leans down and gets impossibly close to me. He ticks a strand of hair behind my ear and we both lean in.
I wait a few seconds, but he doesn't move.
"So, is this a mistake?" Eiser asks and I open my eyes to see him smirking. "I—" I don't even know what to say; my face is probably a cherry by now.
"Uh— YES!" I yell and run out of the room, leaving Eiser alone.
I facepalm internally, my face feeling warmer than before.
