A week and a half later~
(Yes I know a lot of time skips but I'm desperate for these two)
We arrive at a hotel. The grueling eight hour road trip is making my back hurt. Again, Eiser and I didn't talk the whole ride. Even the driver could feel the tension.
"Hello," The receptionist greets us with a bright smile on her face.
How does Eiser not look tired at all?
"Room for Eiser and Serena." Eiser says and gives her a card. "Oh, yes, this way." She guides us towards our room and it's quite fancy. Better than that dreadful hotel we stayed at last time. But I notice...there's only one bed.
"Where is the other bed?" I ask, confused as to why there isn't a second.
"Oh, well...we didn't have any other rooms available at the moment. We only had this luxury bedroom but only with one bed. We're so sorry about the misconception." The receptionist apologized with her hands together.
