Tired I read trough the notes in my hand, I looked at them for so long by now that I am not even sure what I am reversing right now and I would like nothing more than just throw them away and cuddle myself under a blanket, but actually I don't have time for that. The tone, which is indicating that the washing machine is finished rips me out of my thoughts and a bit confused I lift my head. When did I start it?

Well, it doesn't matter because it gives me the break I long for. With my fluffy socks, I slide trough the hallway and enter the bathroom to switch off the washer. Just when I open the door I stop. Why is everything pink? I don't own any pink clothes and Carlos might have a pink shirt, but nothing more. Quickly I find the culprit in the form of a red sock and shake my head.

"Carlos!" I yell for him and maybe already sound a bit angry.

"Yeees?" Is his answer and I am pretty sure that Carlos is spread out on the sofa and isn't interested in standing up at all.

"Come here!" I instruct him to the bathroom and after I short wait I hear his shuffling steps in the hallway.

"So, what's wrong?" Carlos yawns and I put my hands on my hips outraged. How can he be this tired when he is being lazy at home and doesn't do a thing?

"What's that?" I ask him and point at the open door of the washing machine.

"Freshly washed laundry." He says and I am not able to get more than a "Aha" over my lips.

"I wanted to do you a favour, but you don't look really happy." Abashed Carlos looks at me and I am a bit sorry, but I have to tell him that his idea might have been cute, but he still made a crucial mistake.

"Think about which colour the clothes had before." I try to show him that these pink clothes aren't right.

"White." Carlos admits and I nod. Yes, it was white.

"And now it is?" Next simple question, followed by a simple answer from Carlos.

"Pink."

"And where's the mistake?" I keep asking and Carlos doesn't know what to say anymore.

"Because of your dam red socks." I tell him and show him the red sock which he titles as his good luck socks, but this time they didn't really bring him any luck.

"Pink is probably looking great on you Darling." Carlos grins apologetically and I can't be that angry at him. It was a sweet idea with a not-ideal ending.

"Why I am in a relationship with you again?" I ask him with a sigh and get tweaked into the side before Carlos pulls me into his arms.

"Because I am a loveable person." He insists and now I have to laugh. "Yeah, probably because of that." I do love him, but not when he colours my clothes differently than they were before, especially when they now have a colour I rarely wear.

"I am sorry." Grumbles Carlos and I can't do anything but accept his apology, cuddling myself closer to his chest.

"It's okay." I say, before adding "But I think in the future you shouldn't wash the laundry." Making Carlos laugh.

"It's probably better if I don't touch it again."
