40| Christmas

~two weeks later, Christmas morning~

Y/N'S POV

Mine and Mattheo's relationship is going perfectly. Mattheo warmed up to my parents so much.

I'm sure they love him more then they love me at this point. We have a lot of cute family dinners together.

And today it's Christmas. I woke up before anyone at 6 am. I mean what do you expect me to do?

I look to my side where Mattheo is sleeping shirtless while spooning me. I kiss him gently to wake him up.

He smiles kissing me back as his grip tightens and he pulls me closer. I put my hand around his neck pulling him onto me.

"Good morning, beautiful. Merry Christmas" he says pulling away smiling. "Merry Christmas" I say smiling as our foreheads are touching.

"We need to get up" I say as I try to escape his grip but he doesn't let me. "Nooooo" he whines.

"I have to give you my present" I say smiling kissing his nose. "And I have a gift for you but I want to cuddle more" he says.

"Fine, only few more minutes but then we're getting up" I say snuggling against him. Cuddling with Mattheo is so cute.

After another hour of cuddling we finally got up. I rushed to the living room and Mattheo was having hard time trying to follow me.

"Good morning" I yell as I walk into living room to see my mom and dad drinking coffee having a staring contest being cute.

"Good morning and Merry Christmas" they say to us. Mattheo wishes Merry Christmas just as Harry walks downstairs.

"Okay, so let's open gifts now" I say excited. "Yay" Harry says as we walk over Christmas tree.

I spot there are 4 gifts for each person. First went Harry who got quidditch equipment from dad, sweatshirt from mom, some books from Mattheo and new glasses and sweats from me.

Then my dad opened his gifts. He got socks from mom, a cup for coffee from Harry and a watch from Mattheo.

"My present will be here soon" I smile and he nods confused. My mom looked at me confused but just shrugged.

Then she opened her necklace from my dad. A slippers from Harry. Few books from me. But Mattheo, oh he wanted to beat us all.

He bought her a tickets for her and my dad for Bahamas. This bitch is trying to steal my parents.

"Oh my God, honey this is too much" Lily says to Mattheo. He shrugs. "This is just a sign of appreciation for letting me date your daughter" he says putting his head on my shoulder.

I smile pecking his lips. "Okay but please don't kiss in front of me" my dad says covering his eyes

Me and Mattheo pull away as it was finally his turn to open gifts. He first takes the one from Harry.

He got sweats and a cup from Harry. Sweatshirt from my mom. An apple from my dad (do not even ask). And rings and a book from me.

He smiles and thanks everyone. His eyes lingering on me for a bit longer. And finally it was my turn.

From Harry I got sweats and sweatshirt. From dad I got a bracelet and from mom I got matching necklace. And now Mattheo's gift.

I open it to see a beautiful promise ring. "THIS BETTER NOT BE AN ENGAGEMENT RING" my father yells looking at my ring.

"It is not. It's just a promise ring" Mattheo says raising his hands in defense. I just chuckle as my father sighs in relief.

"For now" Mattheo mumbles so only I can hear. Hearing that makes me blush so much.
