Thank you, folks, for giving the first chapter so much love.  Tbh, I didn't expect to get this many views and votes, especially since this story is an abhiRohi fanfic rather than an Abhira fanfic. My other stories didn't get this many views when I posted the first chap. The views increased gradually over time.

It made my day and made me give you people an early update!

Chapter 2

"Matashree," Roohi called her mother. She called again but her mother turned deaf ears. Then she climbed on top of Aarohi, wrapping her arms around her mother she placed her head on Aarohi's chest.

Feeling content from hugging her mother. She proceeded to wake Aarohi up by continuously tapping her cheeks.

From her daughter's continuous distractions, Aarohi finally wakes up.

She wrapped her arms around her daughter and said, "Haan (yes), Shona,"  still drowsy.

"Utho. Poppy aate hi honge. (Wake up. Poppy will be coming.)"

"Okay. Aap washroom jaao. Main aate hoon. (You go to the washroom. I'll come.)" Roohi obliged and headed towards the bathroom.

Aarohi stretched her body and got out of bed. She quickly put on her bra and proceeded to the washroom.

Roohi was brushing her teeth. Once she was finished Aarohi helped her rinse her mouth and helped her bathe.

Roohi had her uniform on and was waiting for her matashree to get dressed.

The bathroom door clicked and Aarohi came out dressed in beige trousers and a black shirt.

Hanging the towels on the wall hook. She strode to the dresser and took out Roohi's comb and some elastic bands from the dresser's drawer. Placing the items on the dresser she called Roohi to sit on the stool. Middle partitioning Roohi's hair, she combed the first half section properly and started braiding her hair.

Aarohi heard the rapping of knuckles against the door. "Come in Abhi." she knew it was him. The door crept and Abhimanyu entered the threshold.

"Good morwing Poppy." Roohi greeted.

"Good morning Roohi."

"Ready?" He quizzed.

"Haan. Bas paanch minute aur. (Yes. Just give me five more minutes.)"

Aarohi tied the elastic band at the end of Roohi's braided hair to keep the braid secure.

Roohi jumped from the ottoman and went with her poppy who carried her backpack.

Abhimanyu picked Roohi up and made her sit on the dining chair. Manjari took out a freshly made Cheela from the casserole and placed the delicacy on a plate. She then squirted ketchup on the plate making sure both of them didn't touch each other and gave the plate to Roohi, who devoured it. Manjari took her seat and started having her cheela.

Abhimanyu took some boiled eggs and had them with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

While eating the rest of the family members started and came and took their seats at the dining table; and started eating their preferred breakfast.

Once breakfast was over, Abhimanyu took Shivansh, his cousin's son and Roohi and made them get their bus for school. As the clock hit eight, he and Aarohi carpooled to the hospital.

On the other side, in the city of dreams, a woman was disturbed by a wail.

"Akshu, beta, dekho Ranav uth gaya hai, (Akshu, child, Ranav has woken up, go look after him,)" Geethanjali said to her younger daughter-in-law while sautéing vegetables to make poha.

Akshara went to her room and picked up her wailing three-month-old.

"Aa gaye Mumma. Shh. Bacha. (Mommy has come. Shh. My baby.)"

Ranav sensing his mother's warmth stopped crying. Akshara laid him on the bed underneath which she placed a diaper pad. She changed his diaper and changed his clothes. Unhooking her nursing bra, she fed her baby. Once, Ranav's tummy was full she burped him. Laying him on the bed, she fetched his toys from the drawer for him to play.

Once, his playtime was over, sleep took over her baby. Turning on the baby monitor, Akshara exited the room, leaving her baby to rest.

"Mumma. School ke liye late ho raha hai. (Mom. We're getting late for school.)"

"I'm coming, Abhir." She went to the kitchen and helped her saas and jettaani, keeping an eye on the baby monitor.

Closing the tupperware she packed Abhir, her son and Mahira, her jetts daughter's lunch. She got their water bottle ready, waiting for the children to come have breakfast. It was the husband's duty to help get the children ready for school. Making it easy for the ladies in the Sharma household.

Eesha unlocked the door, letting her sasur in. Geetanjali came from the kitchen holding a glass of water. Paritosh took the glass, giving his wife an appreciative look and gulped it down. His walk, exhausted him, especially as he was aging.

Abhinav, Saagar and the two children came.

Sitting at the kitchen table. Saagar asked his mother, "Aaj nashte mein kya hai?"

"Poha!" Geetanjali said in a strict motherly tone knowing how much he despised the dish.

"Dobara? (Again?)" He pouted.

Mahira giggled at her father's expense. The ten-year-old enjoyed her dadi's scolding, secretly pleased as she was in the same situation last night.

The Sharma family had a delightful breakfast, exchanging remarks, bantering over things, and enjoying their family moment.

Partiosh dropped his grandchildren off at the bus stop to go to school. Once, they were on the bus, he left towards his building. He came back home to the sight of his son's affection. He cleared his throat, letting the other party know his presence.

Eesha and Saagar separated and Saagar took his lunchbox and went to his workplace. Eesha excused herself and went to the kitchen to help her saas with the utensils.

On the other hand, Abhinav was about to head to his office and came to adieu to his son. Pecking his son's forehead, his sight not leaving the cute bundle of joy.

Taking his backpack, and giving his wife a peck on the lip, he headed off to the newsroom.

Was the description of their daily life too much? Or just right?
