Ch 5

Once it's time for lunch I'm surprised when I walk out and see Seojun standing there he leaning against the wall in front of the art classroom. I blink but make my way over shifting when I hear whispers coming from my classmates. He gives me a little smile before saying simply. "Let's head to lunch." I give a little nod and we head for the cafeteria I feeling a bit nervous when I see my bullies starting to approach but Seojun just gently pushes me behind him as the leader raises an eyebrow. "I thought you didn't care about the freak." Seojun glares at the guy saying sternly. "He's not a freak. And if I catch you messing with him again you'll regret it." He glares back at Seojun they having a stare down for a moment before the bully backs down with a scoff. "Fine." I'm a little surprised when they leave before looking at Seojun appreciatively my ears twitching and I push my glasses up my nose. "Thank you." He shrugs me off and leads me to the cafeteria where we get a lunch tray then I head for the back of the cafeteria at an empty table Seojun taking a seat surprisingly beside me. I pick at my food a little barely eating Seojun giving me a slight look. "You need to eat." I pout a little at him. "I'm not hungry though." At that moment my stomach growls and I immediately feel my face heat up he raising an eyebrow at me. "It sounds like you're starving." He then takes some food with his chopsticks and holds it out to feed me I blushing even more but eat the bite of food shyly. He goes to pick up another bite I pouting. "I can feed myself you know." He raises an eyebrow at me but holds out the food I huffing a little but eat it. Suddenly though I hear a throat clear and look up I a little surprised to see Jay standing there. "Oh hi Jay. Did you need something?" He looks at me with a raised eyebrow before speaking up. "Yeah I'm gonna throw a costume party this Friday and wanted to let you know so you can get a costume." I blink a little adjusting my glasses before saying nervously. "Didn't dad and papa say that we can't throw parties?" He immediately gives me a pleading look. "Please Eli? Your friend can come too." I hesitate a little before reluctantly giving in. "Alright fine. But I'm locking my room so no one will mess with it." He grins and reaches forward patting my head. "Thanks I owe you." He then runs off I letting out a sigh before looking over at Seojun. "You don't have to come to the party if you don't want." He hums before saying simply. "I'll think about it." I give a little nod and lunch soon ends we getting up then head to class. Once the day ends I lead Seojun to the library where we take a seat at a table and I take out my notes. As I'm getting everything together Seojun seems to study me before he speaks up. "So you said dad and papa to your brother are those your parents?" I give a little nod. "Yeah. We were born with a surrogate." He hums before looking curious. "So how come you're a hybrid but your brother isn't?" I immediately let out a sigh. "We're fraternal twins so I apparently got the hybrid gene and Jay didn't. Sure we both have blonde hair and blue eyes but that's the only thing that connects us." He gives a little nod of understanding and I clear my throat changing the subject. "Let's get started on the tutoring." He sighs but nods and we start discussing the lesson until it starts getting late. I quickly pack up my things as I see the sun starting to set a slight frown coming to my face as Seojun and I exit the school. "Well I should probably start heading home." Before I can start walking home though Seojun grabs my hand and leads me over to his motorcycle handing me a helmet before pulling on his own helmet and gets on the bike. I blink but put my glasses in their case in my bag before I put on the helmet being careful with my ears and get on behind him gently but securely holding onto him. He then starts driving off and we head to my house he stopping in front of it. I carefully get off pulling the helmet off and hand it to him before putting my glasses back on. "Thank you for taking me home." He hums before saying softly. "Let me give you my number." I blink but blush and pull my phone out unlocking it and hand it over to him. He types his number in then hands me the phone back I saying a little shyly. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow." He nods and gives me a goodbye before driving off I watching him until he's out of sight I then making my way inside the house and up to my room where I change and climb into bed I slowly falling asleep.
