Araya's pregnancy mood swings had taken a toll on everyone in the household. It seemed that every day brought a new challenge, and today was no exception.
The living room was a mess, with crumpled tissues scattered across the floor. Araya sat on the couch, sobbing uncontrollably, her face buried in her hands. Soumya, her mother-in-law, and Abhinash, her father-in-law, were trying their best to comfort her, but nothing seemed to work. Ashvi, , was also there, her worry evident on her face.
Just then, Shreyansh and Yuvaan walked in, immediately sensing the tension in the air. Shreyansh's heart sank as he saw Araya in such distress. "Araya," he called gently, but she didn't look at him. Instead, she glared at him with anger in her eyes, her tears flowing freely.
Shreyansh looked at Soumya, Abhinash and Ashvi, his concern growing. "What happened?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.
Yuvaan moved towards Ashvi, his brows furrowed. "What happened to bhabhi?" he asked.
Ashvi sighed, looking helpless. "We don't know. She's been crying for the past hour. Maa, Dad, and I have been trying to make her stop, but she won't listen and isn't telling us what's wrong."
Soumya nodded, her face etched with concern. "We've tried everything, but she just keeps crying. We're at a loss."
Shreyansh knelt beside Araya, gently taking her hands in his. " jaana please, talk to me. What's wrong?" he asked softly.
Araya sniffled, looking at him with tear-filled eyes. "I don't know! crying," she sobbed, her voice trembling.
After hearing her words, Shreyansh grew more perplexed. His eyes fell on the table, laden with all of Araya's favorite craving items, yet she was still crying. His heart ached as he tried to understand what was wrong.
"Araya, all your favorite snacks are right here," he said, gesturing towards the table. "Chocolate, pickles, ice cream, even those weird sour gummy worms you like. What's going on?"
Araya looked at the table through her tears, then back at Shreyansh with an exasperated sigh. "I know they're here, but they're not right! The pickles are too sour, the chocolate is too sweet, and the ice cream is too cold!" she wailed, as fresh tears streamed down her face.
Soumya, trying to help, picked up a jar of pickles and held it out. "Here, dear. Maybe a different brand of pickles will be better?"
Araya glanced at the jar and shook her head vehemently. "No! I don't want this I want ice-cream but why is the ice cream cold? It's supposed to be comforting, not freezing!"
Abhinsh, trying to diffuse the situation, offered a suggestion. "How about we warm up the ice cream a little? Maybe that will help."
Araya's eyes widened in horror. "Warm ice cream? Are you trying to torture me papa ?" she exclaimed, throwing her hands up in frustration.
" You guys are bad " she let out and again stated crying
Ashvi, trying to stifle a giggle, added, "What about the sour gummy worms, Araya? Those always cheer you up."
Araya shook her head again, her mood swinging from irritation to despair. "They're not sour enough! I need them to be super sour, like 'make-my-face-pucker' sour!"
Yuvaan, who had been silently watching, finally spoke up with a chuckle. "So, basically, you want everything to be perfect, but not too perfect. Got it."
Araya glared at Yuvaan, her anger flaring once more. "Don't mock me, Yuvaan! Otherwise, I will make you bald," she threatened, her eyes blazing with irritation.
Yuvaan's eyes widened in surprise, and he quickly backed away, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright! No mocking, I promise," he said, trying to keep the situation light.
