AN - this chapter is a bit dialogue heavy, as I have already mentioned, Hindi isnt my first language, so I do apologise for any mistakes. I could easily write the dialogues in english, but to me that takes away the essense of the show.

Khushi pushed her Babuji into the guest room and closed the door. She finally let the emotions, she was holding in, out. She started to pace the room hyperventilating. She kept twisting her fingers Anjali Ji ma banne wali hai.... Uss kamine aadmi ke bachche ki ma.... (Anjaliji is pregnant... with that lowlife's child?) Her body recoiled remembering his words in the terrace "aap humaari pyaar hai Khushi ji... Sirf aap, Hum Rani sahiba se kabhi pyaar hi nahi kiya" (You are my love Khushiji... Only you.. I have never loved Raani Saahiba) Subconsciously she rubbed her palms against her arms.

She remembered the look he was giving her, the audacity of that man, sitting next to his pregnant wife and ogling at another woman. "Chiii" she exclaimed out loud, turning around she noticed her father looking at her, his eyes were filled with worry. She went close to him and sat on the floor "Babuji... Hume samaj nahi aarehai ki hum kya karen... Hum sab ne milke yeh faisla liya ki hum Raizada parivaar se Shyam ki sachai chupaalenge" (Babuji... I don't know what to do... We, together as a family, decided to hide Shyam's truth rom the Raizadas) the wide eyes of her father made her realise that she was talking a bit too loud, she turned towards the door, feeling relief that it was closed, she turned back to her father and spoke again, this time making sure her voice wasn't too loud..

"Par abhi humko lag raha hai ki sach chupake hum sab ne bohot badi ghalti ki hai" (But now I am feeling that it was a big mistake to do so) She saw the confusion in her father's eyes and decided to come clean. Taking a deep breath she continued "Humne aapse kuch baatein chupaai hai Babuji..." (I have been hiding somethings from you Babuji) A tear escaped her eye "Sagai thodne ke baad woh Shyam... Woh hume kai baar pareshaan kiya hai, kai baar issi ghar mei jab bhi hum ghalti se unko akeli mei mile the, humaare kareeb aake humse baat karne ki koshish karta tha... Humaari mann badal ne ki koshish kartha tha... Kai baar Anjali Ji ko humaari nazar mei ghalat dikhane ki koshish bhi kiya tha" (After I broke off the engagement.. that Shyam... he has been hassling me a lot, In this very house.. he has cornered me so many times when I have accidently been alone with him.. he always tried to get close and talk to me... tried to change my mind.. so many times he had tried to make Anjaliji seem like a bad person to me) tears rolled down her cheeks as she remembered those encounters.

"Sangeet ke raat tho woh had paar chuka tha, hume aise pakad ke" (On the night of the sangeet.. he crossed his limits... he held me like this) she clutched her own arms to demonstrate "humse keh raha tha ki humaari bartaav usko ghussa dila raha hai" (and told me that my behaviour was angering him)
She wiped her cheeks "hume bohot dard hua tha... Humne bohot koshish ki thi unki pakad se bahar aane ki... Lekin humse nahi hua... Sahi waqt pe wahan Arnav ji aaye the, phone pe baat kar rahe the isiliye unhone hume dekha nahi, par unke aavaaz sunke Shyam ne humaari haath chodke wahan se bhaag gaya tha" (It hurt me alot... I tried so hard to come out of his hold.. but I couldn't... At the right moment, Arnavji had come to the spot... he was on his phone, talking to someone.. so he didn't see us... but hearing his voice Shyam left my arms and ran away) Khushi saw the relief in hers father's eyes.

"Lekin aaj... Aaj chath pe phir se uss aadmi ne hamari saat batameezi ki" (But today... Again.. that man misbehaved with me on the terrace) she related everything that happened and everything that Shyam had said to her father. She saw the anger and helplessness in her father's eyes "Humein samaj nahi aare ki hum ab kya kare..." (and now I don't know what to do) she breathed out and looked away
