" Mila , get your sexy ass out here chica", my best friend Amina yelled. Opening my bedroom door , I saw her sitting at our table with her laptop.
" Was it necessary to scream , Mina ?", I asked. She smiled back at me in response.
Amina and I have known each other since we were wearing diapers. Our mothers were best friends , just like us. People always ask us if we are sisters , because of how similar we look.
Amina has smooth , chocolate curls that fall down her back , big bright emerald eyes , and a tall , slender build. I always believed she should become a model.
Whereas, I have wild cinnamon colored curls that end just below my shoulders , dark blue eyes , and I'm curvy.
"So don't be mad at me , but I totally just found the perfect guy for you, and you may or may not have a date with said guy, tonight", Amina said quickly.
" Have you lost your mind , Mina" ? " I don't do blind dates , there are way too many weirdos out here" I replied back tiredly.
" Well I can guarantee you that this guy is definitely not a weirdo , I met him in Starbucks yesterday " she said.
" And just because you met him at Starbucks, that automatically makes him date-worthy ? ", I asked.
She opened her mouth as if she was ready to respond , but nothing came out.
" Well , I guess I can cancel your hot date , that just so happens to be at that new club you wanted to check out ", she replied back.
Damn.
Guess I was going on a blind date tonight.
