"Every place that takes appointments, especially that of doctors offices, are supposed to have a 15 to 30 minute grace period for those are either running behind or stuck in traffic"

"Yes. It's called the doctor's office has to be accommodating to a reason extent, 15 to 30 minutes due to extenuating circumstances such as traffic or if the patient is actively sick and showing symptoms. Yes, people may blow off the 15 minute request to show up then in order to fill out the paper work or update the insurance. Which means, even they are on time by technically, taking care of the process will push the scheduled time backwards. Which is another reason for the grace period. You are a health care practice. Not having a grace period is breaking the law. Giving up someone's spot if they don't get here on time is not right. Even if they fill out everything out online; they still need the grace period"
She nods "I'm so sorry, sir. I didn't know. Let me put into the system right now"
Do nods and waits for her to make the note
"Okay, sir. It's done"
"Let me see"
She turns the monitor around and pulls off the privacy screen protector
Do scans the screen "Is that the official system that gets linked to everyone even the manger??"
"Yes, sir"
"Now, update it on the website, script and the voice mail"
"Yes, sir" She says turning the monitor back around and putting the screen protector back on
Do watches her type then take the protector off and turn the monitor to him again
He reads everything then nods "Thank you"
"Of course. Thank you for not arresting me"
"If I have to come back here again for this problem; I will"
