Hi."

His greeting was enthusiastic, but mine when it came was a bit reserved. I didn't give him the pleasure of believing that last night meant anything to me.

I quickly looked away from him and concentrated with the task at hand which was making a drink for another customer.

Billy took a seat on top one of the long round stool on the other side of the bar counter, and when I was done with the customer I was left with nothing but to interact with him.

"How are you?" He had a patient smile on his face as he stared at me. He was looking at me as if there was something interesting on my face.

"All good," I avoided looking at him, instead chose to wipe the counter, just to avoid given him the impression that his attention was welcomed.

"What can I get you?" I asked with a flickering glance at him.

"Make me one of your special," he requested with a confident flirty grin on his face.

I stopped to look at him. My expression was blank but Billy's held a note of challenge, as if daring me to dance with him.

"Are you sure?" I made the tone sound kinky and dangerous, as if there is something mysterious going to happen with him given me free reign to make his drink the way I chose.

His smile didn't disintegrate, instead it grew wilder, a hint of lust playing around the edges as his blue eyes caressed my face intently.

I felt a burn in my lower part at the thrill of our slow subtle dance, but I did my best to keep my expression impassive.

"Give me your best, or ...your worst," he added after a pregnant pause, his eyes twinkling at me playfully.

"Don't worry you gonna like want I am going to give you," I whispered a smile at him.

We both didn't miss  the double entendre of my words which Billy ate up with gusto, his smile broadening, and his eyes turning deeper blue reflecting his desire.

I turned around to the shelf hosting a lot of bottles of vodkas, whiskey, tequila, beer, rum and so on and chose his poison.

I felt Billy's eyes on me like a burning furnace as I did my magic. I didn't look at him until I was done with the drink.

I placed a glass of my concoction with a slice of lime hanging off the edge in front of him and then looked up at him with a daring smile pulling at the edges of my lips.

"A pink cocktail, my favourite colour," he winked at me  with a teasing smile and lifted the drink to his lips.

"Mmm! Nice," he complimented looking a little bit surprised.

"What! I am good at what I do," I bragged. Despite freshly learning the craft of mixing drink, I have taken into it, and occasionally tried my hand at my own mixture and have never gotten a bad review from customers I serve them to.

"I never had a doubt. You are a woman of many talents," he grinned through the edge of the glass as he lifted it once again to his lips.

Before I could answer him another customer needed my attention so I moved away to attend to the customer.

After that customer I had a lot more to attend so I lost track of Billy for a while, when I returned back to him he had another drink in front of him.

"I am sorry I got busy," I apologised for neglecting him.

"Is alright, you are doing your job."

We lapsed into silence with nothing to say to each other. While I cleaned the glasses to get them ready for the next customers, Billy drank his drink.
