The next morning I slowly woke up from sleep, with the fluidity of a cat. My green eyes opened to gaze upon my pale blue walls. I didn't move immediately but instead lay on my side, with my knees slightly drawn up and my two palms underneath my face. I could feel the soreness between my legs and my nipples reminding me of last night activities with Billy.
I was a bit hesitant to confront him now in the light of the day, so I lay quietly, with my breath falling softly waiting for some kind of movement from the other side of the bed.
He had spent the rest of the night with me after we were done fucking, something that took us to the early hours of this morning. Is been a while since I had such a rigorous workout.
I hope he didn't notice.
I felt slight flush to my cheeks at the thought.
When I felt no movement behind me I decided to turn around and face Billy.
What is the worse that could happen?
His side of the bed was depressed, but he wasn't there.
"Billy!"
I called out his name as I sat up on the bed.
No answer.
When I looked around I realised that his clothes along with his shoes were missing. I also noticed a small note on the small table near the alarm clock.
I picked it up and read it.
Sorry had to leave early for work. Didn't want to wake you up as I kept you up late last night. See you later.
He ended the note with a capital B at the end.
I held the slip of paper in my hand and waited
I waited for the guilt, the remorse, the regret. I just slept with another woman's husband, something I never thought I could ever do, but nothing came.
No guilt, no regret, and no remorse. It felt like one of those things.
Time to greet the day
I got down from the bed and padded my way, naked to the closet. I don't have much planned today until it is time for my shift at work.
It is a little sad how boring my life is. No social life, just work and work. Maybe I need to remedy that. We only leave once.
I took out my running yoga pants and slipped it on, before throwing on a matching running vest. I sat down to put on my sneakers and then picked up my ear piece, phone and phone band.
Before I left my apartment I used my hand to sweep my red curls to some semblance of control.
When I got down to the streets I slipped the ear piece on, turned on my music and took off.
It was already full morning, with the sun sitting majestically up in the sky. Despite the sunny morning it was few degrees cooler this morning.
I did my usual route, from my house through the city park to the hiking trail not far from the park. It is about five thousand miles and I do this whenever I can to keep fit.
Apart from running I don't enjoy any other physical form of exercise.
Well, except for the last night form of sports. Lol.
My run took me about three hours, I am a slow runner, love to take my time with it, taking in the nature around me and just much enjoying the feel of the wind on my face.
When I got to my apartment I was panting heavily because I was went for the stairs instead of the lift and it was about twelve flight of stairs. My apartment is on the fourth floor of a ten story residential building.
