Is another new day in the month of August. The sky is clear and the road is busy. Everyone tolling up and down the streets, and the subways going about their business and the hustling for the day. I on the other hand was driving out of town on a mission.

The radio was on and the top of my car was lowered making for a beautiful serene ride.

When I drove into the next town I stopped at the first filling station i came across to refuel and then drove further into the heart of town.

Just like ours it has this suburban air, many lockup shops that are open and calling out for customers, restaurants scattered here and there.

The law office I was looking for was just a little off the main commercial centre of the town.

It was located inside a ten story modern office building. I believe it is on the fourth floor.

The lobby wasn't as busy as you would expect on a weekday. The lift took me to the right floor and opened on to Andrews and Clark's law firm.

I walked up to the blonde haired receptionist who was on the phone and tried to get her attention.

She pretended as if she didn't see me and continued speaking into the telephone in her hand, smacking her gum recklessly. I waited patiently until she was done before greeting her.

"Hi," I said politely.

"Hi, can I help you?" She responded in the same tone.

"I am here to see a lawyer?" I looked towards the close doors. There were two of them and I believe they must belong to Andrew and Clark.

"Do you have an appointment?"

"No, but..."

"I am sorry but you have to book an appointment before you can see any of the lawyers. I can book you one right now."

"Alright. When is your next available date?"

"October, 15th, on Wednesday. Is that okay for you?"

I tilted my head to the side, checking my calendar. Nope, I am on the clock here.

"Are they busy right now?"

"No, but..."

"Sorry, darling, but two months away is a little too long for me," I walked past her and opened the first door on my right and walked in.

I didn't really care which of the lawyers I see today, so long as he gives me what I want.

I turned around to see a stern faced man with nerdy glasses and intense concentration on his screen. He lifted his gaze when he heard the door close behind me.

He watched without speaking as I got closer to his desk. Few feet more and I will be in front of him but the door opened and the receptionist was there spitting fire.

"I am sorry Mr. Clark, she just badged in," she shot me a glare and moved as if to drag me out.

"Don't touch me!" I snapped with a posh accent and then turned to Mr Clark. "I need a lawyer, it is a matter of urgency."

My tone was desperate, and their was tears in my eyes to perfect my acting which was well sold to the man in front us.

He waved his receptionist away, but the young woman tried to protest.

"Is alright Miss Calloway, I can see her, since I don't have a client right now."

The receptionist took a step back me, and I tried to curb my immature nature by not sticking out my tongue at her.
