I did as Billy asked. Came around to where Kate was freaking out and gently lead her away. As we were walking away she kept looking behind her to the spot where she believes Bryan to be.

I wondered what exactly she was seeing.

The guest were nice enough to keep their speculations, and gossips to themselves, and only their curious eyes followed us out of the room.

Who knows what they will talk about once they are out of the confines of Billy's home.

I bet Kate's situation will make for a wonderful tea party discussion, especially amongst the women of her neighbourhood, whom I have noticed Kate isn't really fond off, as she barely associates with them, except for the occasional wave and nod when they pass each other.

Kate has her own breeds of friends, mostly artist like her, with similar superiority, snobbish personality.

I personally aren't a fan of her friends, because I find them a little fake, but Kate likes them, and it seems she and the three other women that make up her group share a long history.

I over heard them one day talking about me, when they thought I have left to fetch drinks for them. They were asking Kate if she was insane employing a nanny that looks like me, asking if she wasn't scared of Billy messing around with me.

Kate responded that Billy will never cheat on her as she gives him everything he ever wants, both in the bedroom and outside. She went on to share her exciting bedroom life with Billy with the rest of her friends who ah and oohed in envy, and excitement for her.

Her confidence and belief in Billy was pretty jarring, and laughable. And I thought I was the only stupid one, looks like even with her worldly experience she is the as naive as most women who stupidly put their 100 percent trust in their men.

Her new neighbours weren't the only ones to show up for the burial, the old ones did. Gloria and her family, also Anastasia came, but without her husband.

Story I got from Gloria when I asked about her was that she was divorced from her husband. And the only reason I could get away with my curiosity without raising any brows was because she was wearing the most ridiculous outfit.

Who wears white to a burial ceremony.

Anyway back in Billy's room I helped Kate get out of her dress into something much more comfortable. She decided on a strip knee length black dress which was body fit for the burial. She did her best to appear composed and in control in front of her friends and family until the end.

She was trembling so badly as I helped her into her clothes.

"Is alright," I whispered and lead her like a kid back to bed. Curled up into herself, she wept silently. I didn't try to stop her from crying. Weeping might be good for her. It is alright if she let's it out.

I caressed her hair gently, knowing how soothing the action can be.

It took a while but she was able to fall asleep, giving me the opportunity to finally leave.

When I came out of the room I decided to check on the kids. Today would have taking its toll on them.

As soon as they were able to eat something they disappeared upstairs, not in the mood to interact with the guest downstairs, not even with their friends, Gloria's kids that were among the guest.

First was Sophie. I walked into her room to find her lying on her bed staring out into space. She didn't notice my presence until I sat down on the bed.

"Are you alright kiddo?" I asked softly staring down at her.

She shook her head and began to cry, before I could say or do anything she threw herself into my arms.
