The revealed secret

It was finally the weekend. After a long and exhausting week, Jay slept in for hours. He woke up to the sun shining in from the window next to his bed. He sighed happily. But then he remembered his weekend homework. He reluctantly got out of bed and got dressed. Since it was the weekend he didn't have to put on his uniform. He pulled on a cardigan and a pair of skinny jeans. After a bit of searching he found his shoes. They were silvery combat boots with platforms. He got them on a shopping trip with Nya; she had a matching pair. He shuffled down the stairs, stumbling a bit. He wasn't very good at walking on platforms, but he loved them anyway. He arrived in the common room and saw Luna sitting on the couch. She turned around and smiled.

"Good morning, Jay," she said softly. "I noticed you weren't at breakfast today, so I brought you some food." She handed him a plate of delicious looking food.

"Aww, thanks Luna," he said. "You really didn't have to do that though. I don't usually eat breakfast anyway. I mean sometimes I do but not usually. I only really eat breakfast when Zane makes it, I mean his cooking is like really good. Cole, on the other hand is terrible." He stopped, realising that he was rambling. "Sorry. Sometimes I don't know when to stop talking."

"It's fine," she said sweetly. Jay took the plate and sat down. "Hey Jay?"

"Yeah? What's up?"

"Do you want to work together on weekend homework?" she asked.

"Sure," he said. "But we don't have the same assignments."

"It's fine," she said with a shrug. "We could still help each other." Jay shrugged.

"What's your assignment?" he asked.

"I have to create a miniature lightning storm." Jay smiled. This should be interesting. Before they could start, the door burst open. It was Cho.

"Everyone," she said. "Something's going on in the Quidditch field." Jay looked over at Luna and she smiled.

"See you later?" she suggested. Jay nodded. He followed Cho to the field. They arrived, gasping for breath. Jay saw a few students standing around with broomsticks.

"YO WHAT UP BITCHES!" Jay's eyes widened. He knew that voice. Sure enough, there was Kai. He stood at the edge of the Quidditch field in ripped jeans and a red leather vest. As he walked across the field the light glinted off his dark sunglasses. He caught the eyes of a few girls who walked up to him and tried to talk to him, but he turned away and showed them a specific bright red pointed nail. He watched in awe as the brunette walked up to a dark skinned Slytherin boy. Kai began to talk to him cheerfully. Jay became curious and walked a bit closer to hear what they were saying.

"So yeah," Kai said, fidgeting with a gold bracelet. "Sorry about that." Jay was in shock. Kai was saying sorry? Intrigued, he listened closely to their conversation.

"It's alright," said the other boy. "Though I'm still curious about how you did it." Kai smirked with dark red lips.

"That, dear Blaise, is a secret," he responded. For a moment he thought he saw the other boy, Blaise, blush, but he must have imagined it. Then he heard another voice.

"Smith," said the voice. He turned and saw none other than Draco Malfoy. "What you did yesterday, that was quite interesting. I, however, was unimpressed." Kai laughed.

"Are you kidding?" he asked Malfoy. "Draco, you looked scared out of your mind!" Malfoy stepped closer to him.

"You don't scare me," said Malfoy. Kai stepped forward as well, his Nike shoes making a soft squelching noise as he placed his weight on the damp soil.

"Oh yeah?" asked Kai, though it was said as more of a challenge.

"You bet," said Malfoy. "Why don't you scare me then, if you think you're so cool." Jay grinned broadly. This should be fun. At this point there were at least twenty students watching the verbal battle. Among them he saw Lloyd, who looked like he was silently begging Kai to punch Malfoy into oblivion. Kai laughed softly and took off his glasses, still keeping his eyes out of view. He wore dark winged eyeliner around his eyes.

"You sure about that?" asked Kai. Then he opened his eyes to reveal that they were glowing red. The crowd of people gasped in unison. However Jay had never seen Lloyd look more excited.

"Absolutely," said Draco, though he didn't look so sure. Without moving a muscle, Kai set himself ablaze. Most people screamed, several people covered their eyes in terror, Lloyd was cheering his ass off. Draco stumbled backwards and fell back onto the ground. Then without a word Kai extinguished the flame, grinning widely.

"Did that scare you enough?" he asked. Draco nodded, his eyes filled in terror. "Good." Without thinking, Jay cheered excitedly. He immediately regretted this decision as everyone began to stare at him. Then Lloyd, sensing his discomfort, began chanting.

"Smith! Smith! Smith! Smith!" Gradually the cheer grew until the whole group was saying his name. Kai's giant ass ego is loving this, Jay thought to himself. Oh, well. He can have his moment.

This was really fun to write, especially the part where I was describing how Kai and Jay looked. I just love designing character outfits! Whose POV do you think I should do next?
