Harry woke up with a massive headache. Tom was mad, really, really mad. Harry sighed, got up, and made breakfast. Sev came down half an hour later. "I don't recommend going anywhere near the dark lord any time soon. He is really pissed, I should know, I am one of his Horcruxes, after all." I say as he sits down. "I blocked him from my mind, but he still hasn't learned to stop his major emotions from leaking through." I sighed and put a pancake on Sev's plate.
"Do you know what's got him so upset?" He asked, and I shook my head.
A cold chill directed our attention to the deity that just entered the room. "Master, it seems that Peter has betrayed the dark lord and tried to destroy his Horcrux."
I waited for the bad news to come. I could feel a memory that was not mine. Wormtail with the diary and basilisk venom. I could feel the searing pain as the soul came to me. "Why do all the soul pieces come to me? Never mind, don't answer that. Just take the soul pieces and give them back to Tom. We have to get to Hogwarts. Oh, and I accept Peter's life debt. He has until the end of the week to cut all ties with Dumble, or he will face a punishment worse than death. " I said before a pain fills me, and then it's gone.
We aporated to Hogwarts. As the heir to the entire school, I can apparate there whenever I want. She welcomed me home like always, and this time, I replied.
"Severus, why is Harry here, and with you?" McGonagall asked as we walked in. I gave her my inheritance test. "Well, this explains why you served everything every year."
We walked into the meeting room to the minister and a pink toad. "Can someone fill me in on why the Minister is in MY school without MY promotion? I am pretty sure all of you guys guessed I was at least the heir of one of the founders." I asked as Minerva passed my inheritance around.
"I was just saying that there is no proper DADA teacher." The Minister said.
"Severus will be taking DADA, and Tomison Guant will be taking potions. I am thinking about replacing Binns but haven't found a good history teacher." I said. "She can stay and suggest ways to help but if I get wind of her doing anything illegal, then I have no choice but to kick her out." My word was final.
The meaning continued for the rest of the day, and soon, it was time to leave when the pink toad stopped me. "Mr. Potter, I was wondering about what Mr. Diggers said at the end of last year, as well as your use of magic."
"What Cedric and I saw in the maze was just that, a trick of the maze created by the old man. As for my magic use, I am now a fiscal adult after completing the tournament. Anyways, I am the master of death, and you can't put laws on God's or their master. They are magic, after all." I said and turned to my sub.
She was about to say something more but the Minister stopped her. I smiled internally before aerating me and my mate back home for the night. We went straight to bed. We were both too tired to do anything else.
