It's been about a few months and tomorrow was the day of her wedding. Both her and Almanzo wanted a small ceremony. As her and Laura were teaching beside Eliza. School ended as the three girls were speaking of the wedding. Mary, Eliza, Laura, and her ma were going to be her bridesmaids while Carrie and Grace were the flower girls. They all went to the pond for the pond where Almanzo asked her to marry him was her favorite place. Nels allowed the food to be provided by Nellie's since she's been learning how to cook. It was the day of her wedding as the girls were getting ready. The boys were getting the wedding set up since they volunteer to save money. "I know you and Almanzo haven't discuss but what about children." Laura said as Charlotte smiled, "Well, I want a big family for sure. For my 1st daughter after Mary of course. For a boy after Pa and Mr. Oleson." Caroline smiled when they heard the door knock. Caroline walked over to open and see Charles as he said, "It's time." After arriving the wedding commenced as Almanzo watched his sister and the Ingalls ladies go down the aisle. Then his breath stopped seeing his Maeve walking down. "Who gives this lady to be wedded." Charles looked down at his daughter and said, "I Charles Ingalls give my daughter away." Gives a kiss on the cheek as tears run down her face. These were the last moments of being Ingalls for Charlotte as Almanzo and her were getting married.
"Do you Almanzo James Wilder take this women to be your wife." Almanzo smiled and said, "With all my heart." "Do you Charlotte Maeve Ingalls take this man to be your husband." Charlotte smiled and said, "As long as I am alive." The pastor smiled and said, "In the power invested by the church and God. I pronounce you Husband and Wife." Almanzo then whisper something to the pastor making her confused then they kissed.
"Introducing the new Couple. Mr. and Mrs. Ingalls-Wilder." Charlotte smiled thanking Almanzo as everyone around them smiled congratulating them.
