The next day Charlotte was at work when her family came over with Mary and Adam. Charlotte excused herself as she walked over to go join her family saying goodbye. "Are you two ready for the trip?" Adam smiled and said, "Yes, and it wouldn't be possible if the 3 of you didn't let us use your money. We thank you for that." Laura said, "We wouldn't have it any other way." Charlotte agreed to it. Charlotte and Laura hugged Mary as they said goodbye to their family. Afterwards Laura decided to stay for a bit and hang out in the store to keep Charlotte company when we heard Jason's voice call out for Laura. Charlotte let Jason talk to Laura for a bit when she heard her father call out for Laura. Jason and her said their goodbye's as Charlotte smiled at the couple making her think of when she and Almanzo 1st met.
Charlotte was working at the Mercantile as Nellie and her mother went to her house. Charlotte still can't believe how stupid the Olsen women are. It's gonna be hilarious when Charlotte sees them. The door open and you can see Mrs. Olsen and Nellie were stung by bees as they went upstairs. Charlotte hid her smile so that they wouldn't think that she was behind the scheme knowing if she did smile that would happen. Then all the sudden she saw Mr. Garvey and her Pa riding off on his carriage making her confused. Ms. Foster came over as Charlotte said, "Ms. Foster where is my Pa and Mr. Garvey going?" Ms. Foster said, "The stagecoach that your sister was in didn't arrive so they're gonna check where they are." Charlotte nodded and said, "I'm about to head home. So I'll tell Ma where Pa is going to be." Ms. Foster nodded as she left.
It's been a few hours since Pa and Mr. Garvey went to go find Mary and Adam. Their whole family was at the orphanage as Almanzo was standing with Charlotte. Charlotte was shocked and mad at the stagecoach for not working on it correctly. Almanzo kept rubbing her to keep calm which Charles and Caroline were happy about. Knowing how Charlotte is, she tends to get furious. "How is Adam? Dr. Baker" Dr. Baker said, "Well, he won't be in any races for awhile till he heals but he's fine." Charlotte sighed and smiled when all of them heard the baby and Ma said, "Mrs. Lauren?" Dr. Baker said, "A bouncing baby boy." The whole family was happy to hear this and made sure to help with travels and to explain to her husband what happened. Charlotte took a breath of fresh air as she was outside when Almanzo came over. "You alright Maeve?" Charlotte smiled and said, "Never better"
