Dinner arrived and it turns out that Ma went to the orphanage and talked to them about what happened. They would really like to go but they didn't have enough money so she wanted to help but Pa said that they didn't have enough money. "Is there anything we can do Pa? Can't we go to the bank?" Charlotte asked as Charles looked at his oldest and said, "You know I don't like borrowing from the bank." Charlotte became quiet as Ma went to grab some more coffee and the three siblings looked at each other. When it was time to go to bed the three siblings went up in the loft and tried to fall asleep. Laura and Albert were talking about giving the money that they were gonna earn from their honey. "I have about 50 dollars saved. Let's put the money together and give it to them." The siblings nodded and Laura said, "Let's tell Ma and Pa." The 3 of them headed down the loft and walked over to their parents bed.
Charlotte then said, "Ma, Pa." Their parents woke up and looked at the three. "We wanted to talk about Mary's and Adam's trip to Mankato. We decided to give them the money we earned from the honey and work." Charles and Caroline smiled as Laura said, "If we do this then we can't get you guys christmas presents." Caroline smiled and said, "This is the best Christmas present you could ever give us." The siblings smiled when Charles smiled and said, "Why don't we go tell them?" Caroline was shocked and said, "Now?" Charlotte said, "Well, we're all awake and I have a feeling that none of us will be able to go to sleep." Caroline smiled and said, "Well, alright." The whole family got dressed and got onto the carriage to head over to the school.

They arrived at the school as Charles knocked on the door. Hester-Sue opened the door and the whole family was smiling and laughing. Making Hester-Sue confused when Adam and Mary came down stairs. "Nothing to worry about Adam and Mary. It's just us." Caroline said. "You guys are going on your trip." This made the couple confused as Caroline looked at Lottie and Laura. "Me and Albert are giving you the money from what we've earned." Laura said as Lottie added, "I'm giving you the money I earned from working." The couple was super happy as Hester-Sue said, "I believe none of us are going to bed. Why don't I make us some Hot Tea and fresh biscuits." Charles then said, "That sounds great. Adam common down. We have a bit of planning to do." The group beside the sisters went into the other room as Mary came down. The three sisters hugged as the parents watched the bond getting stronger of those three sisters.
