"Afternoon students, now we know that today is career day from all the parents that have spoken. I do have another person to tell her story about her life and what she is." Laura said to her students. "Please meet my sister Charlotte Ingalls." Charlotte walked up to the front standing in front of her used to be Peers. "Afternoon students, I am Charlotte Ingalls and I am the Author of Walnut Grove. Ever since being young, I loved to read stories, listen to when my Ma or Pa spoke of their childhood. At the age of 14 I started to write of story My Little Home. It talks about me and my family living in the big woods to moving here in Walnut grove. I'm currently writing a story about my love life, more of my family, and the adventures I have had here in Walnut Grove. I have become a teacher for extra income. So you'll be seeing me more, especially more English since that was my best subject."
All the sudden they heard a rampaging sound of feet as Almanzo came in. "MAEVE! MAEVE! You need to come with me." This made Charlotte confused and said, "I'm just about to teach English." Almanzo looked at Laura and Eliza and said, "Laura, Sis, you don't mind if I take her just this once." Both girls smiled seeing the both smile bright and said, "Yes, yes!" Almanzo grabbed her hand as they ran out of the school and onto the wagon as Almanzo raced to the place. Charlotte was scared to be either thrown out of the wagon or hurt. "Almanzo! Slow that wagon down! You have my daughter on there!" Charlotte looked back at her Pa then back at Almanzo.
After awhile they arrived to a field as Almanzo ran up a hill and said, "What do you think of this place?" Charlotte looked around her and said, "Why?!" Almanzo smiled saying, "I bought this today Maeve!" Poor Charlotte was more confused as she said, "Bought it for what?" Almanzo said, "For our farm! For our home!" Then it came clear to her as she said, "OUR HOME! OH AMAZON! OUR HOME!" She got off the wagon and ran to her fiancé as they hugged in the middle of the field.
