Its been days since last thursday when millie left me on the side of the road and Jason brought me home. That night I cried all the way home to bed. I felt so humiliated with the entire yard looking at me knowing what happened and everybody finding out we couldn't stand each other.

Millie stays away from me now, he hasn't been in his yard for days now, I don't see his car parked by his house I don't see his curtains moving. The only time I saw him recently was when he stopped by and I was passing food to everyone. When I brought him his the plate of food I was nervous at the fact that everyone around us knew that we didn't like each other and his cousins kept laughing and their aunty kept telling them to stop. When I gave him the plate and walked away to go inside to give everyone else their plate I saw him from the window. He placed the food in the table just where the dog could jump up and eat it. He wasn't even mad at the dog. He just shrugged his shoulders and said

"Me never wengo eat it anyways" while laughing.

"Millie why Yuh affi deh gwaan suh pan the girl? While laughing. Millie replied by saying.

"Me nahh gwaan nuh way pan har me eat a mi yaad already man me never hungry the dog did want it more than me" he looked at me through the window with a smirk on his face. While everyone else was laughing and pushing his shoulders where I stood and watched it all.

That same night I called my friend Kayla and complained to her. I told her about everything and that I wanted to quit and I was ready to leave. I couldn't take it anymore being around him, I didn't even want the money anymore. I'd find it any other way. I can't take it anymore at all.

Now I was in the living room cleaning and brushing off all the dirty chandelier that was above the ceiling. I had music blasting through my headphones as I hummed them music lowly. it was rihanna lift me up. i like that song. its so calming and comforting, like a lalaby. makes me feel so peaceful. i gulped all the anger and frustration inside me as i dusted decorations sitting on top of the tables. i held the pretty glass cup that was shaped as a cat that they put cancy in. i can still it was probably old and mrs emmersons.

she seemed like the type to like these when she was a young woman. my grandma would like these too right now. i placed it down after washing it and wiping it down opening the bag of chocolate heresy and throwing them all inside, was deciding to give in here a new decoration. i didnt I know how theyd take it but if you know me by now you know anywhere the problem dem deh me find it. because when the people dem ask me who the rass tell me fi rearange them place me nuh know wah me ago say.

it looks nice though, nicer than at first, i was done with the kitchen i fixed the living room how it should look in my head, i moved all the big ass couch to the window where there was a tree outside, that look better a swear rich people nuh know nothing weh me seh dem nuh know? NADAAAAA because why wasnt it like that in the first place? i looked everywhere proud of my self, the last thing i needed to do in the living room now was change the mats which they were down by the storage room in the basement.

this was the first place with a basement ive ever been in and me nuh wahh guh down there eno expecially seh when me a did pickney me watch too much duppy show. maybe me nuh need them? figet them me nahh guh down there. i just decided to let them stay and look dutty if them want and mop the house.
