Running downstairs my brown dress wrapped around my body curling rods still in my hair and one ear ring trying to fit into my ears as I rushed to the door hoping Micheal hadn't made it here yet. A man doesn't want a woman that doesn't move on time. I scolded my self as I made it to the door looking outside only to see Millie. My heart dropped as I opened the door to meet face to face with arms that came straight to my hips.

"Millie? I said confused.

"Hi, wah you a do here... I-

"Fi pick up millie"
"Me come fi talk Vanessa but you look like you a rush somewhere... WOW, where you a go" he asked softly looking me up and down. My heels on the floor behind me was a give away it was a date but there was no way I could bring my lips to tell him I was going out with a different man.

"Um- pan a little girls date with my friend kayla" I told him softly. He smiled looking me up and down.

"You look breath taking" he told me.

I smiled.

"Me sorry this a the time we a talk but me want fi tell you say me sorry fi how me talk to you the other day and how me run you Vanessa. First of all me wah tell you me thank you so much fi try help me even after me run you, you did a tell them wah fi use rub me up. Me never expect you fi still a try help me after everything wah me do you and it just show me say you might do some INSANE THINGS. But you stills good person inside and me appreciate you." He told me softly. I felt my heart leap as we enetefed the living room sitting down as we spoke I leaned over and hugged him so tight.

"Millie you a mi baby father I'll always be there for you because I don't want anything wrong with any of us for Emilio and just that I forgive you and co parenting fi raise our little boy with two forgiving parents" I told him smiling softly. He stared at me.

"Me get jealous... because me think you have other man. It break mi heart fi know seh you have somebody else. Me is a man and me ago tell you how me feel and me nago beat round the bush Vanessa me still in love with you. Deeply. And when you do what you do the other day it only make it way deeper. Vanessa me want fi fix wih relationship and get back together fi Emilio. Me want you back me will do anything"

"Me so sorry fi the way me treat you Vanessa me never know wah me did want but now me know you perfect fi me despite seh we used to be toxic we can work pan it please give me a chance again please give Emilio mommy and daddy" he said. It all came off so fast in the middle of me getting ready to go out with Micheal I didn't know what to say. My heart was pounding looking at my phone seeing Micheal say he's almost near the house I felt like I was about to shit on my self.

"Millie..." I trailed off.

"Millie as much as I love and care about you I don't think we can get back together because we did TOXIC millie. Very toxic it's true that I still have love for you but I don't want to go back there-

"It will be different Vanessa. It will be a new me please baby we can even leave the country with him and me want a daughter too Vanessa please me want a family with you "I love you" me sorry me fuck up. Me see how you feed me the soup and me cya imagine you a love somebody else the way you live me Vanessa we meant to be please" he begged. It was all so shocking I glanced at my phone panicking at the time and seeing Micheal's message. I sighed and I felt my heart falling out of me.

"Millie. We better off co parenting" I said firmly. He sat there staring at me as just begins to nod.

"You don't even wah try? He asked sadly. I sighed.

"Okay. Just know anytime you ready to be in a relationship me open to it and me nuh love nobody else but you and mi son.

"Yes" Millie answered Emilio as he laughed entering the upstairs hallways to go pick him up.. I smiled as I nervously followed behind him watching as he picked up Emilio who was happy as ever to be in his arms. He screamed and cried and kick and giggle as Millie picked um up kissing his cheek.

They've been getting to know each other and is already in love with each other I've forgiven Millie for all he said to me during my pregnancy and here we are Emilio loves his father.

"Adadadada!" He screamed Millie laughed.

"Somebody happy fi see me???!!! Somebody happyyyyy fi see dada Millie? He asked him kissing his face. He calls Millie Millie too. I think it's funny since they look alike.

Their whole family calls him Millie also and now he only answers to it. Or "mills"😂 my baby. I prayed that my baby would have a father and Millie would come around and provide and help me raise my little boy and my prayers worked. I fast and prayed dry fast for 3 days and I prayed and I has faith.

Here he was now an amazing father to his son. Even though we aren't together. To show that for is BIGGEE THAN EVERYTHING. It just takes faith in him. Obedience and he will make miracles happen.

Im not a perfect girl but god loves me. Now im asking god to get Millie out of my house before Micheal pulls up outside.

"Me know you have somewhere a go but me hungry yuh nuh cook? Millie asked me. I laughed he always love my cooking he always begs me to cook. But I was rushing.

"Yes, rice and peas from last night want some? I asked softly. He nodded and I headed to the kitchen pulling out the left over food from last night heating it up. I watched him play with Millie as

As he ate the food with his feet thrown up on the table and I laughed watching him. Greedy fucker. I smiled.

"When yuh friend a come? He asked curiously.
I panicked at the question as I glanced around grabbing my phone, oh my god Micheal would be here any minute now. I felt like I was going to pe on my self.

"She nuh here yet but she close you really have to go Millie" I mumbled. He nodded as he grabbed a bottle of water cracking it and drinking it before grabbing Emilio and his bags.

"Okay enjoy yuh date, yuh look good" he mumbled leaning down and hugging I laughed hugging him back.

"Thank you"

As soon as Millie got in the car and drove off down the road I dashed my heels and my purse over my shoulder. A car of loud music pulled up right at the door and there a handsome tall dark chocolate Micheal stepped out of his car coming up to the house.

I looked through the window as I couldn't stop blushing opening the door as I met a purely white smile.

It was all smiles and laughter as Micheal told me about a story from his childhood of when he was told to go buy food and lost the money on the side of the road and couldn't go back home. I placed my hand over my mouth laughing as I sipped from my glass of red whine tasting my food. My hair blew in the wind behind me revealing my dangling ear ring as I laughed loudly at Micheal telling me how his mother chased him around the yard.

"Ohhh my really? Why you never just go inside and tell her you lost it instead of fi sit down outside that coulda be dangerous!" I told him touching his hands as I laughed.  He shrugged his shoulders in his white right t-shirt as he shrugged licking his pink lips.

The man is fineeeeeeeeeeeee Millie is pretty boy handsome fine but Micheal is SEXYYYYY type of fine. The date was going so lovely and I was so glad that everything was going perfect it was so nice reggae music softly playing behind us.

"My mommy was a crack lady so she did scary till this day she scary" he told me. I giggled. Just listening to him go on and on. I could listen to him all day I could watch him all day he was funny.
