Y/n's POV

When the phone suddenly clicked off, I found myself laughing, knowing Chifu had forgotten to wait until we could plan it at least.

He's so cute.

A soft knock at my door brought me out of my thoughts and I walked over to welcome whoever came by. Instead of a person, I was greeted by a small blue emoji plushie. "It's so cute!" I squealed and picked it up like it was the most precious thing in the world. I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and turned to see a blue haired individual walking away.

Oh wait! I know him!

"Wait! Aren't you Souya?" I called after him. I realized I must've scared him because he ran away instead of walking. "No, wait! I'm sorry! Please come back!" I ran after him but when he suddenly came to a complete stop, I crashed into his back. He caught me before I could fall but I was already apologizing.

"I'm so sorry for scaring you! I just wanted to say thank you for something so cute! I'll treasure this forever!" I smiled at him, tilting my head to the side a little as I looked deep into his eyes. "You look so cool! I promise, you don't have to be shy around me. If we're both shy, I think it might be hard to be good friends like I hope to be." I trailed off.

"You're not scared? Don't I look...scary?" He whispered. Although his eyes never left mine, his face was beginning to resemble his brothers' hair the longer we held eye contact.

I shook my head happily. "It's not like you're mad at me. I can tell you have a big heart and you're just scared." Without a second thought, I embraced him , snuggling my ear against his very fast beating heart. "Thank you so much!"

"I....um..." He stumbled over his words and I realized I should probably let him go until he continued. "Can I hug you back? If that's okay?"

I nodded against his chest. "Yes!" His hands rested on my sides with the weight of feathers. My phone suddenly went off and I giggled, realizing it was definitely Chifuyu. I pulled away and smiled up at Souya's now bright red face. "I have to answer that, but you are so amazing and I hope you'll see me again but not run away. Please?"

Souya's POV

He nodded quickly as his cheeks were definitely feeling and looking like they were on fire. He watched her with devoted eyes as she walked back to her apartment. When she stopped to wave back at him with a smile before closing the door, he found himself feeling different.

Maybe...I'm not as scary looking as I thought.
