Rindou's POV
Idiot. Such an idiot. Can't you just tell the guy to leave? Stop being so nice all the time. It causes me too much trouble to threaten each dude you're nice to.
Rindou rolled his eyes as yet another man looked at you similarly to how many others did. On the bright side, everyone knew never to harm you or there'd never be an ending to their beating as Toman is a large gang. They don't touch you, but they shouldn't allowed to talk to you either.
Or look at you.
Rindou felt himself snap when the man "accidentally" touched your arm, stomping over immediately to push the guy back with more strength than he was aware he had. When the man went to stand to fight, Rindou gave him a look so cold, it could've put the whole of Japan in an ice age. "Beat it."
As the man scrambled to run off, you of course were none the wiser. "Rin, he was just being nice to me. I didn't mind it at all!"
That smile!
"Don't smile at men, Y/n!" He hadn't meant to yell and seeing you flinch in surprise made him regret everything real and unreal in his life. The way your face fell made his heart break. "Why would that make you cry!?" He couldn't help but keep going, knowing if he was going to lose her, then it may as well be permanent.
"I'm sorry, Rin. I wasn't trying to cause you any problems. I'm sorry." Hearing your tearful voice was unbearable. He jerked your chin up to look him in the eye only to see tears flowing freely down your cheeks.
I can't do this!
Without a word, he picked you up bridal style without you even putting up a fight.
Are you able to hate anyone at all?
With his job as a co-owner of a club, he had been saving money for many things, all of which related to you. He placed you in his car, ignoring your confused glances as he got over to the other side, got in, and drove off.
He drove for an hour outside of Tokyo. It was so far that it changed from tall buildings to trees and more greenery slowly. When he finally pulled into a small parking lot, he still hadn't said a word and neither had you. He sighed. "I want to show you something I bought a month ago."
"Okay." You said nervously. As you both got out, Rindou led the way until he came across an old fashioned home. One with flowers of all colors surrounding it. He found it for a great deal and made sure to have it fixed up quickly. He watched your face change to one of wonder as you looked around. His heart beat erratically as you stopped in front of the only purple flowers there.
Y/n's POV
I thought he was really mad at me and the thought broke my heart. I don't understand him. He brings me to the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
When I saw the flowers, they reminded me of his hair and I couldn't help admire them closely. I heard a step a little closer to me and turned to apologize. "Sorry, R..." The words disappeared into the wind as he was knelt to the ground.
"I don't know why, but ever since that first day I saw you, I knew. I call you an idiot but that was years ago and I'm only making a move now." As he continued, he pulled out a small box. "I know you're not the type for expensive things and I wanted this to stay romantic instead of you being mad at me for spending too much money." When he opened the box, the ring was similar in shape to the tattoo he had with a small purple diamond in the middle.
"Would you like to be Mrs. Rindou Haitani?"
Before the words were completely out of his mouth, I launched myself at him with pure joy, wrapping my arms around his neck. "You're so mean! I thought you hated me and I was the only one!"
"How could you be the only one, my idiot." I pouted at that but quickly giggled, cupping his cheeks with both hands.
"I would love to be Mrs. Rindou Haitani."
