A/N Mikey's ending will have 2 parts. Enjoy!
Mikey's POV
He had noticed Y/n smile brighter at him, somehow. It brought familiar feelings he knew he never wanted to let go of back to the forefront of his mind and heart. It's just hard to put it into words when he's with her. He had thought of trying to do what others did as a way of showing her, but he already learned the hard way, that unless he tells her, she won't be able to see it.
Which is why he called her out her to the same park as before, but this time, he is going to confess to her.
BUT HOW?!?!?!?
"Jiro! I brought some homemade dorayaki for you, in case you're hungry." He felt his cheeks heat up as she approached him with his favorite foods. He never noticed until this timeline, but what she made for him was only for him. She wouldn't eat it. He had assumed she did it because she thought her cooking was bad, but Ken corrected him.
"Idiot. She wants to take care of you. If she eats what she made for you, she probably doesn't feel like she's doing that."
His silence made it obvious he was nervous about something. He couldn't understand why she would always be able to notice things like that, but not a loving gaze.
Not a soft hug.
He shook his head as horrible memories began to cloud his mind and he tried to smile up at her concerned face. "Sorry, I was just lost in thought."
She motioned for him to sit down as she pulled out the snacks, placing them beside him. He let out a nervous sigh as he looked away at the spot he had memorized so well. Her confession was amazing. He could almost feel her kisses once again. He clenched his fists as he tried to push past the pain he had held onto all this time, not looking in Y/n's direction as he spoke.
"I'm a horrible person, you know. I'm selfish because I want you but I know I don't deserve you at all. Someone like me who killed you, someone who says you're so precious to him, should never get another chance, yet here I am. Wanting...needing another one. I can't even ask you to forgive me because you don't remember..."
His warm tears fell down his cheeks but before he could try to hide, he felt your hands cup his face the same way you had before, turning him to make eye contact with your smiling face. "I remember, My Lion King. How can I not forgive the man I love?"
