"I fucking warned you, Sebastian! I told you to stay the hell away from her!" Luke's voice boomed, the threat in his tone palpable. His hands clenched into fists, trembling with suppressed rage. "I swear, I'll fucking end you," he growled, his eyes darkening.

Sebastian, shaking off the blow, stepped defiantly towards Luke, his own anger flaring dangerously. "I'd love to see you try, brother," he challenged, his voice laced with scorn.

Fearing the worst, I sprang between them, my voice desperate. "Luke, please! He didn't do anything!" But my plea dissipated against Luke's towering rage. He lunged at Sebastian, gripping his tie tightly. "You fucking bastard," he spat venomously.

Sebastian's eyes darkened, a complex mix of pain and defiance surfacing. "So, now I'm the bastard son, am I?"

At those words, Luke's expression shifted, the realization of his harsh words dawning upon him. He hadn't meant to strike that nerve. Loosening his grip, he stumbled over his words, trying to apologize, but Sebastian was quicker. With a forceful shove, he pushed Luke away.

"Indeed, Luke. I am the forsaken son," Sebastian shot back, his voice a tumultuous mix of bitterness and anguish. Without another word, he turned and disappeared into the crowd.

Luke, his anger still simmering, grabbed my wrist and led me swiftly out of the club. The cool night air hit us, a stark contrast to the heated tension we left behind. Confusion and frustration bubbled within me as I confronted him. "Why, Luke? Why the violence?"

"He's damn lucky that's all I did," Luke retorted, his jaw set, the anger in his eyes still smoldering.

"Why are you even here, Luke? Do you really think something was going to happen between me and Sebastian?" My voice was laced with anger, a hint of hurt underlying each word. The accusation in my tone was palpable, stirring a deep, unspoken sentiment within me.

"Answer me, Luke. Why?" My voice escalated, each word piercing through the night, challenging the barriers I had meticulously erected around my emotions.

Then, in a heartbeat, Luke's actions reached a crescendo of raw, unbridled passion. He pushed me against the cool brick wall, his presence overwhelming, transforming my bewilderment into a heightened sense of alarm. His voice, trembling with a fervor I had never witnessed, betrayed the depth of his feelings.

"I'm here because I can't stay away from you, Emily," he confessed, the words spilling out with an urgency that spoke of a truth long buried. "You're mine, even if you don't realize it yet. I won't let anyone else have you. I fucking love you, Emily – and I refuse to let you go."

Luke's declaration, naked and unfiltered, shattered the last barriers between us. It was as though a dam had burst, unleashing a torrent of truths that had been dammed up for far too long. The weight of his admission hung heavy in the air, imbued with a palpable intensity that held us both captive.

My heart was a whirlwind of emotions, caught in the eye of a storm I had secretly yearned for. Overwhelmed, my words faltered as I struggled to process the depth of his confession. "Y-you... you love me?" I managed to utter, my voice a tremulous whisper.
